White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt just laid out what might be the biggest healthcare fraud in American history. She didn’t come to her presser empty-handed. She came with receipts, numbers, and facts that make the political spin look ridiculous.

In 2024, Medicaid costs for emergency services for illegal immigrants exploded, up 142 percent, reaching $9.1 billion. Compare that to 2020, Trump’s last full fiscal year, and Biden’s last full one in 2024. The spending nearly tripled. That’s a 196 percent jump.
Doctors in Southern California admitted the system was being “bombarded with illegal immigrants,” which meant longer waits for American patients. In Denver, the CEO of Denver Health said 8,000 illegal migrants showed up 20,000 times in 2023 alone, leaving an unpaid bill of more than $10 million.
California, though, is where it went from outrageous to insane. State officials pulled a trick with managed care taxes. They taxed providers, used that to unlock massive federal matching funds, and then turned around and spent the federal money on healthcare for over 1.6 million illegal migrants. That scheme grew into a $34.6 billion racket.
Will anyone be charged with fraud?
The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services later discovered California had improperly claimed $52.7 million in just 18 months for people who weren’t even eligible for Medicaid.

According to Harvard-Harris, Americans side with Trump and Republicans by a 2-to-1 margin. Sixty-two percent say Republicans will win the standoff. Only 38 percent think Democrats will. They would be the extra brain-damaged Democrats.
So here’s the truth. For decades, Democrats told you benefits for illegal migrants didn’t exist. They mocked you for suggesting otherwise. Called you a conspiracy theorist. Now we know they were lying. They built a $200 billion healthcare scam you never voted for, and you got stuck with the bill. Every single dollar wasted here is money stolen from American seniors, veterans, and children.
Trump shut it down. He fixed what the Democrats destroyed. But the Democrats want it back. And the choice before us is whether to let them restart the fraud or ensure they lose this fight badly.
