Let’s get right into it. On Wednesday, Anthony Fauci was seated in front of the Senate, and this time the senators grilling him actually have real proof. They can show he lied to them more than once, and he lied straight to the American public as well. He lied about where the virus started. He lied about why lockdowns and mandates were supposedly necessary.
On top of that, he worked with the press, the intelligence agencies, and some of the top names in science to silence any researcher brave enough to challenge him. Now he’s invoking the Fifth Amendment, even after Joe Biden already gave him a pardon. He pleaded the Fifth for every question asked. At the end of the day, he’s betting on protection from three places. He expects the Democratic Party to run cover for him, friendly reporters to say, “Nothing to see here,” and a D.C. court system already stacked in his favor to finish the job.

Here’s what really gets me, though. No matter how this legal drama plays out, nobody seems ready to ask the question that actually counts. How exactly did this man dodge accountability for so long? I mean, he was in government employment for almost fifty years, and he’s done some unscrupulous things over the years that are now being addressed. I think it’s important for us to take this episode seriously so that we never have another Fauci again.
It turns out Fauci kept a personal diary on government computers, which ended up being a massive blunder, since Robert F. Kennedy Jr. managed to obtain it. What’s inside shows someone who comes across as a narcissist bordering on being psychotic. It also shows he was saying one thing about COVID publicly while writing something completely different in private. He clearly enjoyed his celebrity status, even claiming that he himself IS science to boost his credibility with the American people, all while millions died because he hid the truth about where the virus came from and what it actually was.

The legacy media has largely buried this story. On the rare occasions they acknowledge it, they reshape the facts to protect themselves. That is hardly surprising. They helped sell the deception to the American public, then defended an election that millions still question and a candidate who was never fit to hold the presidency, suffering from Warm Diarrhea Bbrains syndrome.
I’m honestly worn out watching this exact routine play out again and again, all to shield the left. Strip it back, and it really comes down to Trump. Trump had his reelection locked up, and COVID wasn’t what changed that. What actually did the damage was the lockdowns. Trump got blamed even though Democrat governors kept their states locked down longer based on Fauci’s guidance. The economy got shut down. Schools closed their doors, and children were harmed by it. Ordinary life became miserable for most people.
Take a guy like Ron DeSantis or Greg Abbott. Their real offense was daring to question Fauci and the federal playbook on COVID, and for that, the press came down on them hard. Everything that unfolded during 2020, all that upheaval, ended up steering the election in a direction that cost Trump his second term. And that’s exactly why the left still acts like Fauci walks on water and never made a single mistake in his life.
Sure, more damning details about Fauci will probably come out of this hearing. But don’t expect it to touch the actual machinery that made him possible in the first place, let alone fix it.
Look at what actually happened. The NIH, the CDC, and The Lancet all recited the exact same script on the exact same timeline, as if nobody had to think it through on their own. Anyone who broke from that script got crushed instead, whether they were part of the Great Barrington crowd, digging into the lab-leak angle as a journalist, or simply raising doubts about mRNA shots. Call it whatever you want, but don’t call it science. What you’re looking at is coordinated compliance.
And this problem didn’t just cost COVID victims their lives before Trump got involved. It was also damaging the future of our country.
This isn’t new territory for Fauci, or for manufactured scientific agreement leading to mass casualties. Years earlier, during the AIDS crisis, he promoted a harmful drug while burying treatments that genuinely helped patients. Robert F. A similar pattern shows up with the opioid epidemic, even though Fauci had no direct hand in that one. Purdue Pharma pulled off something similar, getting respected medical journals to print the idea that OxyContin wasn’t addictive at all. And don’t forget the climate change nonsense that was manufactured by scientists on someone’s payroll and billionaire globalists, which managed to guilt an entire generation into thinking it was wrong, even selfish, to have kids.
I remember when Al Gore came out and said that there was a “consensus” among scientists on climate change, even though real science is not based on how many scientists agree with each other. That’s not the scientific method, but for the climate change hoaxers it worked well. Climate science is the only one in universities that, instead of using peer review, uses PAL review. That’s where they present papers to be reviewed by other climate scientists, instead of people from another science, and these other climate scientists are naturally not going to trash anything that furthers the cause of the globalists. And you can bet they expect the same treatment when they want to get their work reviewed.
Our own media outlets and intelligence agencies have carried out that same BS. It showed up in the COVID falsehoods. It also showed up when the FBI and CIA leaned on social media companies to suppress reporting on both COVID and the Hunter Biden laptop story. By now, this has become a finely tuned system, one that doesn’t stop at shaping opinion. It actively works to enforce it. They even got Facebook to shut down a stream summit of medical doctors from around the world who were telling people how they treated their COVID patients with success.
Look, Fauci’s behavior fits right into a scientific world that had already rotted from forced consensus. Nothing about him was really an outlier. Backing that rot was a press that had quit asking hard questions or reporting anything that didn’t fit the narrative, plus intelligence agencies working against this particular president. At some point, everyone just started nodding along with whatever the experts said instead of actually chasing down what was true.
Right now, Trump’s taking a wrecking ball to both halves of that system. Expect this hearing to dig up plenty of new details. What I don’t expect is anyone getting close to answering the one question that actually matters, which is how this whole thing was ever tolerated in the first place. Kratzios and Trump are going after the intelligence community on one side and the scientific consensus machine on the other, and together that’s the exact structure that let Fauci fake his way into expert status and nearly wreck the country in the process.
