On Wednesday, the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) said it will add a warning of “heart inflammation” to the fact sheet for the Moderna and Pfizer mRNA COVID-19 vaccines that are given to patients to read prior to vaccination.
At a meeting of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s (CDC) Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices (ACIP), Dr. Doran Fink, deputy director of the FDA’s vaccines division said that the FDA will “move rapidly to update the fact sheets” to provide transparency related to identified risks, no matter how rare they are.
“We do agree that, based on the available data, a warning statement in the fact sheets for both healthcare providers and vaccine recipients and caregivers would be warranted in this situation,” Fink said.
Fink continued saying that the warnings “would likely include information stating that these events have occurred in some vaccine recipients, particularly following dose two of mRNA vaccines, that the onset of symptoms typically have been several days to a week following vaccination.” Symptoms include chest pain and shortness of breath.
Could that be why there are over 5,000 people in the US who have died from getting the vaccine according to the VAERS system? That once highly respected reporting system is now being trashed by the Left because it’s doing its job by reporting problems with vaccinations. Who would have ever thought that leftists would even politicize vaccines?
An ACIP panel discussed the latest data on incidents of pericarditis and myocarditis following mRNA vaccination in adolescents and younger adults under 29, notably after a second dose. The majority of vaccinated patients with inflammation are males.
VISIT OUR YOUTUBE CHANNELA panel member gave a presentation at the meeting and suggested that there was a “likely association of myocarditis with mRNA vaccination in adolescents and young adults.”
Pediatric cardiologist for Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta, Dr. Mathew Oster, also told the panel, “It appears that the mRNA vaccines may be a trigger for myocarditis.”
CDC official, Dr. Tom Shimabukuro, said to its vaccine advisory committee that logged case rates inside the reporting system are higher than expected in young males.
Pericarditis is inflammation of the sac-like tissue surrounding the heart, and myocarditis is inflammation of the heart muscle.
Inflammation can also occur due to infection with the COVID-19 virus. While many people who developed inflammation after getting the jab have been hospitalized, supposedly none have died from it. I say supposedly because we live in a time when you cannot trust anyone in science, and especially the Biden administration to tell the American people the truth.
The CDC decided to investigate further after they saw the higher than expected numbers of heart inflammation in adolescents and young adults after they received their second dose of the mRNA vaccine.
People who received the Pfizer-BioNTec jab made up most of the cases reported while some cases were reported by people who got the Moderna shot. The Pfizer-BioNTec vaccine, still considered “experimental,” is authorized for 12-year-old kids. The Moderna vaccine, also still considered “experimental,” is for adults 18 and older.
Despite the “likely association” of heart inflammation from mRNA vaccines, the advisory committee on vaccines says the risk of myocarditis or pericarditis from adolescents to young adults after being vaccinated with an mRNA vaccine did not outweigh the benefits of the vaccines. Tell that to the grieving parents of a child who was killed by an mRNA vaccination. Nope. No thanks.
The current standing policy of the CDC on the vaccines says, “COVID-19 vaccines are recommended for persons 12 years of age and older in the United States under FDA’s Emergency Use Authorization.”
The Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), the CDC, the American Academy of Family Physicians, on top of fourteen other health organizations have published a joint statement in an attempt to reassure Americans that myocarditis and pericarditis are rare adverse effects that should not discourage people from getting vaccinated.
“The facts are clear: this is an extremely rare side effect, and only an exceedingly small number of people will experience it after vaccination. Importantly, for the young people who do, most cases are mild, and individuals recover often on their own or with minimal treatment. In addition, we know that myocarditis and pericarditis are much more common if you get COVID-19, and the risks to the heart from COVID-19 infection can be more severe,” the HHS said.
“We strongly encourage everyone age 12 and older who are eligible to receive the vaccine under Emergency Use Authorization to get vaccinated, as the benefits of vaccination far outweigh any harm.”
If you’re not sick, and a doctor told you that a treatment he wanted you to get had the chance of causing you to get inflammation around your heart wouldn’t you tell him to go pound sand?
