Kamala Harris Has Time For a Football Coin Toss While Our Border Falls Apart [video]

Vice President Kamala Harris had the spare time over the weekend to travel to a football stadium to toss a coin at a college football game as 16 thousand illegal migrants were packed into squalid conditions under a bridge highway in Del Rio, Texas. In fact, things got so out of hand that Texas Governor Greg Abbott had ordered State Troopers to build a wall with their vehicles to block the port of entry. Because of that, the Biden administration scrambled to get agents to the Del Rio site to process the mostly Haitian crowd and allegedly got the number from 16,000 human beings down to 13,000 by Sunday.

Though Haitians make up a large majority of the illegal migrants in the camp, Cubans and Venezuelans are there too.

On Saturday, Harris, the reluctant border czar, visited Audi Field in DC for the game’s opening coin toss in the game between her alma mater, Howard University, and Hampton University.

Dan Scavino, former White House Deputy Chief of Staff, took to social media to sum up the ridiculousness of Harris’s behavior and reminding people that Harris was appointed the one who is supposed to handle the border crisis that the Biden administration caused.

The scene at Del Rio has been described as a humanitarian nightmare. When the federal government creates a crisis and then shirks its responsibilities to protect American citizens from said crisis, it’s time states protect themselves.

More than 16,000 men, women, and children have sought shelter under a bridge in Del Rio.

US Representative August Pfluger (R-TX) told Fox News:

“Speaking to Border Patrol agents, the worst is yet to come, they’re worried about what is behind here, they’re worried about coordination with Mexico.”

The chaos there turned ugly when the Biden Administration halted deportation flights.

Fox news reported, “The migrants have set up a de facto camp under the bridge to shelter from the 100-degree heat as their numbers swell and they wait to be processed by Border Patrol.”

“Officials have rushed toilets, water, medical supplies, and other humanitarian aid to try and help.”

Senator Ted Cruz (R-TX) said that Joe Biden would resolve this crisis “simply following the law and reinstating deportation flights back.”

“When you have open borders, this is what you get,” Cruz said. And he’s right. I personally think this is all part of the Biden administration’s plan.

Many of the Haitians in Del Rio now were living in countries like Argentina and Brazil, and not in Haiti before they came here.

“This is wrong. This is not humane,” the Texas senator said.

“This is not compassionate,” Cruz added. “This is lawless, and it is inviting suffering. This needs to end.”

Meanwhile, Republican Governor Greg Abbott ordered Texas law enforcement to storm the border and secure the Del Rio area.

Texas law enforcement seems to have things under better control. I guarantee the Biden administration will complain that the federal government has the authority to do border patrol, and while that is true, the Constitution also guarantees every state a republican form of government, and this administration is not allowing Texas to experience that.

Governor Abbott took to social media to alert the American people what his State Troopers are accomplishing.

“The Texas Department of Public Safety is in full force along the border around the Del Rio area. They have built a barricade with their squad cars and State Troopers. The National Guard is working with them to secure the border.”

On Sunday, Former President Donald Trump weighed in asking how in the wide wide world of sports National Guard troops were deployed to Washington, DC to handle security for a pro-Trump rally at the Capitol but nonse were deployed to Del Rio to help handle the illegal migrant crisis the Biden administration created.

“The largest number of illegal aliens in the history of our country are pouring in by the millions. They are totally unchecked and unvetted, can do whatever they want, and go wherever they want,” the former president said, asserting that the US “is rapidly becoming a cesspool of humanity.” He argued that the media are not providing enough coverage of what the former president deemed, “greatest crisis in the history of our country.”

The fact that Harris was tossing a coin at a football game instead of working to fix the chaos at our border shows the administration is not serious about the problems they created that put Americans and the illegal migrants in harm’s way.
