On Friday, the National School Boards Association (NSBA) reversed itself and apologized for their contentious letter calling on President Joe Biden and radically woke Attorney General Merrick Garland to have parents who complain to school boards about teaching critical race [racist] theory (CRT) to their children investigated and labeled as “domestic terrorists.”
The letter sent by the NSBA made the claim that school board members were under “immediate threat” of violence by protesting parents. Critics immediately said it was government overreach and intimidation of parents.
The Pennsylvania School Boards Association (PSBA) announced they withdrew their membership from the NSBA because of how radical the letter to the Biden administration was.

Parents marched in DC against being labeled as domestic terrorists for complaining about the racist CRT being taught in their children’s schools.
Seventeen state Attorneys General sent a letter to Biden and AG Garland demanding they stop intimidating parents.
Terry McAuliffe (D-VA) was the only prominent politician dumb enough to agree with the NSBA saying during a debate “I don’t think parents should be telling schools what they should teach.”
On Friday, the National School Boards Association apologized.
“As you all know, there has been extensive media and other attention recently around our letter to President Biden regarding threats and acts of violence against school board members,” the statement started off.
“On behalf of NSBA, we regret and apologize for the letter. To be clear, the safety of school board members, other public school officials and educators, and students is our top priority, and there remains important work to be done on this issue,” the statement continued.
“However, there was no justification for some of the language included in the letter. We should have had a better process in place to allow for consultation on a communication of this significance,” the organization added.

While the apology didn’t get into what they considered unjustified language from the original latter, it was more than likely this:
“As these acts of malice, violence, and threats against public school officials have increased, the classification of these heinous actions could be the equivalent to a form of domestic terrorism and hate crimes.”
Critics, rightfully so, slammed the NSBA for trying to intimidate parents against complaining and protesting teaching critical race theory, and pushing classroom mask mandates, and transgender bathroom policies that put young girls at risk (thanks, Obama!) at public schools. Parents know that the school board members work for them, something school board members forgot. The American taxpayers pay their salaries and parents have every right under the sun to demand these radical things stop being served at their children’s schools.
AG Merrick Garland actually responded to the letter by announcing that the FBI would be attempting to partner up with local law enforcement to investigate any threat of intimidation against school board members. He went that route because even though Garland has proven himself to be a woke radical leftist lunatic (thank you Mitch McConnell for keeping him off the SCOTUS) he knows the federal government has zero jurisdiction to get involved.
Garland has to testify before the Senate Judiciary Committee next week, and now it’s going to be particularly grueling because the NSBA just hung him out to dry. He agreed with the NSBA’s radical letter and now they reversed themselves.
The newer statement by NSBA said the organization “deeply valued” the voices of the parents that they had previously referred to as “domestic terrorists.” Give me a break. If there wasn’t so much backlash, by now, they would be calling for National Guard troops to be deployed to school board meetings.
They also said the NSBA is going to do an internal review (which is progressive-speak for we don’t really mean it) of the procedures and the process that led to the writing of the outrageous letter in the first place.
Folks, this is proof that you have the power. When enough people stand up to government tyranny, they back down. It’s called the beach ball theory. The government is trying to push a beach ball underwater, but when the people keep applying natural pressure to return the ball to the surface, eventually the person pushing the beach ball underwater tires and has to give in. The beach ball will never stay underwater on its own.
The people have to continue to stand up to tyranny or a tyrannical government will continue doing tyrannical things. We cannot let them get away with any more radical policies that affect our lives because before you know it we will become Australia, which is the new North Korea as far as being a prison colony.
