Last week, during a performance in London, England, comedians Chris Rock and Dave Chappelle ripped on actor Will Smith as the two talked about assaults they both suffered this year onstage.
Rock, who was assaulted on stage at the Oscars while he was presenting an award for making a joke about Smith’s wife, Jada Pinkett Smith, poked fun at Will over his genuinely bizarre apology video that Rock deemed a “hostage video,” saying that Smith’s slap really did sting his face.

When speaking of Smith’s apology, Rock hooted, “fuck your hostage video.”
Rock concluded his rap on Smith by pointing out that he doesn’t consider himself a victim and said he was able to go back to work the next day.

On Friday, Isaiah Lee pled not guilty and was ordered to stay 100 yards from Chappelle. The Associated Press reported that Chappelle’s lawyer called in to the Friday hearing to request the protection order.
Lee was charged with battery, possession of a weapon with intent to assault, unauthorized access to stage area during a performance and commission of an act that delays an event or interferes with a performer.
“After reviewing the evidence, prosecutors determined that while criminal conduct occurred, the evidence as presented did not constitute felony conduct,” a statement read. “The District Attorney’s Office does not prosecute misdemeanor crimes within the city of Los Angeles.”
Chappelle admitted that the attack on him was “some scary shit,” but he added that Rock overshadowed him on that subject by talking about Rock’s fateful confrontation with Smith on Oscar night.
The Closer star ended his set with another dig at Smith, saying that the actor “did an impression of a perfect man for 30 years.”
“I just hope he doesn’t put that mask back on,” Chappelle joked.
