A Florida anesthesiologist decided to celebrate after Charlie Kirk was assassinated. She literally went on video saying she was “really glad that Charlie Kirk just got himself fcking shot” and declared that “no one should give a fck that he’s dead,” before quickly wiping her social media clean.
The doctor is Tatiana N. Atkins of Larkin Community Hospital in Miami. She thought it was a good idea to post that disgusting rant on her Instagram account, @tati.gets.around. Not long after, she disabled her profile. Luckily, the clip didn’t vanish. The Miami-based hosts of the Mostly Peaceful Latinas podcast uploaded it and called attention to what she said.

According to an online health provider database, Atkins has also worked at Riverside Walter Reed Hospital in Gloucester, Virginia, and St. Lucie Hospital in Port St. Lucie, Florida, as recently as 2024. So this isn’t some random fringe person. This is a mediacal doctor.
Here’s how she started her rant: “I’m just really glad that Charlie Kirk got himself f*cking shot, cause he’s right. Empathy is dangerous to society, so no one should give a fck that he’s dead.”
This is exactly what the Left does. They take conservatism, rip it out of context, and turn it into something ugly. This lunatic doctor didn’t just criticize Charlie Kirk. She hijacked his words and twisted them into a grotesque justification for violence. That’s the death cult narrative of the modern Left. They no longer debate ideas; instead, they demonize their opponents and cheer when tragedy strikes. And then they call that “compassion” or “justice.”
Someone in the background apparently pushed back. Atkins doubled down: “He said it. I’m just saying his words. All I’m doing is using his words. You can’t be mad at me for using his words.”
Think about that for a second. That’s not quoting someone, that’s weaponizing their words. Charlie Kirk never said, “I hope somebody shoots me.” He warned about the dangers of misplaced empathy. This doctor twisted that warning into a sick celebration of his death. It’s not clever. It’s not ironic. It’s the kind of deranged mental gymnastics you only see from people who are so blinded by ideology they can’t even recognize their own cruelty.
She went even further: “Empathy is a new-wave thing, and it’s very problematic. You’re right, you’re right, no empathy for you. Zero.”
So there it is, plain as day. She wasn’t just ranting; she was mocking Charlie Kirk’s message. Kirk had warned that misplaced empathy, when a society bends over backward to excuse evil, can be dangerous. Instead of engaging with that idea, she twisted it into a cruel punchline: “Empathy is a new-wave thing, and it’s very problematic. You’re right, you’re right, no empathy for you. Zero.” In other words, she took his words, stripped them of meaning, and used them as a taunt to celebrate his death. That isn’t debate. That’s hatred dressed up as irony.
That’s what this woman thought was appropriate to post after a political assassination. And remember, she works in medicine. Larkin Community Hospital hasn’t commented yet on their employee’s behavior, but you’d think they might want to.
Charlie Kirk was shot in the neck while speaking to a crowd of students at Utah Valley University on Wednesday. He was rushed to the hospital, but doctors couldn’t save him. He was pronounced dead at just 31 years old. The suspect is still on the run.

Kirk was OK with other people getting shot, he said so publicly in 2023 in Utah. He also despised empathy, so he’s probably OK with what happened to him. I have exactly as much empathy as he did. Enjoy republican gun policy.

He never said any such thing. Pull your head out of your ass and realize you’ve been lied to. Your libnut overlords twist everything conservatives say. On shootings, Charlie said that the left is letting criminals out of the jails and doing cashless bail to make it easier to let violent criminals on the streets, and at the same time they want to take away the Second Amendment to protect yourself, and so, unfortunately, those murders are a good reason for keeping the Second Amendment. The reality is a 180 from what you’ve been told, you fool.
As for his comments on empathy, Charlie never said he despised empathy. He said too much empathy for criminals gives them a sense that they can do anything they want. He was talking about Democrat politicians being too soft on crime. What a nitwit.
