Representative Eric Swalwell (D-CA) appeared to recommend that US military personnel stationed overseas be prohibited from watching Fox News. Swalwell made the remarks when speaking with MSNBC host Katie Phang on Saturday.
Phang questioned Swalwell if there should be “congressional oversight, regulations, or some type of gatekeeping” over Fox News after Tucker Carlson presented previously unseen footage from the January 6, 2021 events.

Nothing Tucker Carlson aired was disinformation or misinformation. The very segment between Phang and the dunce congressman from California is a plethora of disinformation and misinformation.
You cannot watch a video with enough length in time to consider the piece in full context, and claim it’s misinformation when it debunks the misinformation and disinformation of the Democrat narrative. But that’s exactly what the liars of January 6 have been doing in panic mode since Carlson aired the January 6 videos.

Swalwell answered by saying he didn’t “want to get into the business of telling troops what they can and cannot watch,” before implying just that. Anyone who has followed Swalwell knows full well that he would revel in censoring the troops overseas to be able to watch what falls under the Democrat narrative.
“I don’t want to get into the business of telling troops what they can and cannot watch. But if you have a news station that a court is going to rule is, in its evening hour, perpetuating dis- and misinformation, I don’t know if I disagree with [those] saying that we need to take a look at how this is being broadcast to our troops.”
Here’s where the Democrat’s intentional confusion comes in. During the Dominion court case against Fox, which I am convinced they brought at the behest of the Democratic Party, the Fox lawyers distinguished the two sides of the Fox News Channel. One side is straight-up news, think Brett Baier, Shannon Bream, and Peter Doocy. The other side is the opinion shows that mix news and the opinion of the host and their guests. Think Tucker Carlson, Sean Hannity, and Laura Ingraham. The channels that Swalwell and his leftist ilk support, such as CNN and MSNBC, also have two sides, but they call or refer to all of their opinion hosts “news anchors.”
“So I don’t think we are without complete recourse,” the California Democrat added, implying that House could pass legislation prohibiting overseas troops from watching Fox.
Yes, Eric, you are without recourse. It’s called the First Amendment, you dope.
“I hope that’s an incentive for Fox News to clean up its evening hour, starting with Tucker Carlson and going late into the evening with Laura Ingraham,” Swalwell said, seemingly threatening Fox News hosts. “They all spun and told these lies.”

Nothing makes troops feel more like home than American TV programming and a popular channel is Fox News, says Democrat Eric Swalwell.

The big problem for conservatives is that whenever they try to debunk the lies of the Democrats on social media, the social media platforms, that we now know were working with Democrats to censor conservative speech, will censor and deplatform them if they post to debunk the Democrat narrative. It recently happened to me on my YouTube channel. I mentioned that Jacob Chansley, the Qanon Shaman, from January 6’s lawyer went on record to say that the Department of Justice refused to comply with a Brady compliance and never sent him any of the exculpatory evidence that Tucker Carlson aired last Monday night. The lawyer said he asked for the videos and they declined to give them to him. He also pointed out that even if he didn’t request the videos, the DOJ had an obligation, a duty to give them over to the defense. Chansley went into court with no viable self-defense because the DOJ violated his due process rights that are guaranteed in the Constitution. I pointed this out, and YouTube gave my channel a strike claiming I was spreading “harmful conspiracy theories.”
In the end, this is all you need to know. Democrats will always try to rig whatever system they are involved in. Currently, they are rigging the narrative about January 6th and Tucker Carlson’s in-your-face revelations that they lied to the American people for over 2 years. They have social media tech tyrants helping them. The problem they face is that people who have seen the videos that the Democrats refused to release for over two years, know exactly who the liars are.
