On Tuesday, White House mouthpiece Karine Jean-Pierre welcomed the Supreme Court‘s ruling, allowing Border Patrol personnel to cut razor wire on the southern border because “it got in the way.”
Justices Amy Coney Barrett and John Roberts joined the dark side of the court with the loony left.

However, in a 5-4 decision on Monday, the Supreme Court overruled a previous court ruling that prohibited officials from removing the razor wire unless there was a medical emergency, a decision that pleased the Biden administration.
During the press briefing, Jean-Pierre stated that the administration is “certainly glad” it can remove the razor wire without making a direct admission regarding the barrier.
“It got in the way,” she conceded, before calling it “ineffective.”
“And that’s something that we have to remember: it was ineffective. And so now, it’s going to allow border security to do their jobs; it’s going to allow border security to actually act if there is an issue or a dangerous situation happening,” she said.

While she acknowledged that the razor wire functioned properly as a barrier (i.e., “it got in the way”), she constantly stated that it was “ineffective” without explaining how. Ineffective at allowing migrants to enter the United States illegally?
Furthermore, the press secretary failed to explain how the razor wire stopped Border Patrol officers from performing their duties.
Importantly, a federal judge had already determined that Border Patrol personnel were not doing their duties once they cut through the razor wire. According to SCOTUSblog, the judge agreed with Texas that Border Patrol personnel were “not actually apprehending or processing migrants who cross through holes” in the barrier that federal agents had constructed.
While the Supreme Court permitted the Biden administration to cut through the wire, Texas has continued to build it. On Tuesday, video footage showed Texas National Guard members erecting additional obstacles.
