After a disastrous town hall gathering on Wednesday, New York Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (AOC) said that her people are like the followers of the Westboro Baptist Church and that she does not need to “take them seriously.”
Maybe her constituents will start to think that they don’t need to take her seriously in her next election. Didn’t Nancy Pelosi say that you could put a D on a glass of water in her district and the Democrat would win?
Here’s a new primary challenger:

AOC tweeted “These homophobes were yelling Westboro Baptist-style anti-LGBT+ slogans. What do you think I’m gonna do? Take them seriously? If you want to associate w/ their views, that’s your business. But NY-14 will ALWAYS have a champion for LGBTQ+ people on my watch. Period.”

When you listen to a lot of the complaints coming from the audience, it seems that they are angry because AOC seems to only want to represent LGBTQ people. So whereas AOC says that she will remain a champion of LGBTQ people, the rest of the world in her district is wondering why she doesn’t want to represent them as openly or eagerly? That’s because the alphabet people are the latest victimology group that the Democrats want to focus on to help them gain power.
Ocasio-Cortez’s comments were tweeted alongside a video of her dancing while people were chanting, “AOC has got to go,” on social media. It came off as incredibly insulting behavior by the congresswoman. The boisterous group of residents welcomed the congresswoman as she arrived at an event she was hosting in Astoria, Queens, but then as AOC spoke more, many in the crowd turned on her for the hypocrisy and phoniness of the woman who represents their district.
More video was shared by journalist Oliya Scootercaster, who wrote, “Since that video was stolen from my page, here is a link to a full thread with context.”

One video shows a man yelling, “If you’re gay, you get to have a house, but if you’re not gay, you have to live on the street?”
His comments come after AOC claimed “housing as a human right,” where certain community members would receive free housing at the expense of the taxpayers. The progressive supports LGBTQ facilities as part of her commitment to equity, which results in the district allocating funding to their operation disproportionately.
Remember folks, equity is not about equality. Equity is about “get evenism” with people who don’t have what others have and progressive politicians say they’ll rectify that by stealing it from the haves and giving to the have-nots who didn’t earn it. It’s all a Marxist power grab.
After the man was dismissed, he added, “So if I don’t have butt sex, I can’t have a place to live?” to which AOC replied with a lie saying that “Sexual orientation has nothing to do with it.”
The designations lesbian, gay, and bisexual all signify a sexual orientation, so sexual orientation absolutely has something to do with it.
AOC continued to address the audience and questioned a woman there about her anger. She said, “I am not mad. There are only two f**king genders.”
She compared the comments made by her constituents to those made by the Westboro Baptist Church, whose motto is “God hates f*gs.” Churchgoers can be seen protesting at veterans’ funerals because they feel that 9/11 was God’s retaliation against America for accepting the gay lifestyle.
Whereas the people at Westboro Baptist Church should burn in hell for how they treat innocent people, especially veterans who paid the ultimate sacrifice, regardless of your orientation, it is a wholly different thing when you are questioning why the government supports one group of people over others. The government is not supposed to be in the business of picking winners and losers, but that’s been the Democratic Party’s MO for decades.
With regard to town hall meetings, AOC has had a difficult few weeks. At a meeting in the Bronx last week, anti-war demonstrators heckled the congressman and demanded to know why she supported US engagement in the war in Ukraine and why she is supporting and encouraging it to the point where we are now on the brink of nuclear war.
