On Tuesday, President Joe Biden insulted Second Amendment supporters, saying they need fighter aircraft to combat the government, not AR-15 firearms.
What on Lucifer’s black beach is he talking about now?
Biden addressed gun violence and made multiple misleading statements during a campaign event in California.
Biden started off by saying that the National Rifle Association (NRA) wields “overwhelming power” and that it “is the only outfit in the nation that we cannot sue as an institution.” Of course, that is a lie. And we know it’s a lie because Joe Biden said it. In New York, a court has determined that a current lawsuit against the NRA can proceed forward.
Biden then said that the Second Amendment does not explicitly specify that you can “own any weapon you want.”
“There’s a lot of things we can change because the American people by and large agree you don’t need a weapon of war. I’m a Second Amendment guy. I taught it six years in law school. And guess what? It doesn’t say that you can own any weapon you want. It says there are certain weapons that you just can’t own. Even during when it was passed, you couldn’t own a cannon,” Biden explained.

The language of the Second Amendment, however, does not prohibit the possession of any firearms. It reads:
A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed.
It is also a lie that Americans were forbidden from having cannons. Biden’s allegation, which is completely incorrect, has been fact-checked numerous times.
Biden must have gotten the FACTS vaccine when he was a kid because now he doesn’t get FACTS.
“We have no idea where he conjured up this notion about a ban on cannon ownership in the early days of the Republic, but he needs to stop making this claim,” wrote Glenn Kessler of the Washington Post.
Well, a private ship owner wrote a letter to James Madison, who scholars refer to as the Father of the Constitution, and who also wrote the Second Amendment. The ship owner asked Madison if his ship’s cannons were covered under the Second Amendment. Madison went on to write a letter of marque and reprisal telling the man that yes, his cannons are covered under the Second Amendment.
Finally, Biden addressed the point advanced by Second Amendment supporters: a population without firearms is vulnerable to government tyranny. However, according to Biden, your guns are irrelevant since the government possesses fighter jets.
“Well, if you want to do that, you want to work against the government, you need an F-16. You need something else than just an AR-15,” Biden scoffed.
Notice how he addresses the need for firearms against a tyrannical government as “work[ing] against the government.”
Joe Biden is an embarrassment to our country. I hope the people who helped him slime his way into the Oval Office are happy.
