Vice President Kamala Harris declared Tuesday she was “proud” to have chosen radical leftist Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz as her running mate. She didn’t quite put it that way, and I don’t think she’ll be able to put lipstick on this pig.
The choice of Waltz shows that Harris sided with the most far-left candidate on her shortlist. Normally, a presidential candidate chooses a running mate who would help them win a state or calm the nerves of party members, thinking the top candidate needs balance on the ticket. Harris broke both rules.
The radical hard left opposed pro-Israel Pennsylvania Gov. Josh Shapiro, who comes from the all-important state of Pennsylvania and appeared to be Harris’ second option.
As Minnesota’s governor, Waltz has a track record of far-left policies. He was likewise a radical member of the House of Representatives, having a 13 percent lifetime score from Heritage Action.
“I am proud to announce that I’ve asked @Tim_Walz to be my running mate,” Harris wrote on X. “As a governor, a coach, a teacher, and a veteran, he’s delivered for working families like his. It’s great to have him on the team.”
The Trump team instantly slammed Harris’ choice as a “wannabe” West Coast Democrat with a “dangerously liberal” record.
VISIT OUR YOUTUBE CHANNEL“It’s no surprise that San Francisco Liberal Kamala Harris wants West Coast wannabe Tim Walz as her running-mate – Walz has spent his governorship trying to reshape Minnesota in the image of the Golden State,” Karoline Leavitt, Trump Campaign press secretary, said in a statement.
From Breitbart News:
- A June report from Minnesota’s legislative auditor found that Walz’s administration “failed miserably in its duty to properly oversee millions of federal dollars it administered to nonprofits to feed children.” The report said that Walz’s alleged incompetence “created opportunities for fraud.”
- Walz signed legislation to allow minors to get sex-change operations in Minnesota. He signed a bill to require schools to stock period products in boys’ bathrooms.
- Walz allegedly failed to anticipate and react to riots in Minneapolis after the death of George Floyd. Even the liberal mayor of Minneapolis, Jacob Frey, slammed Walz’s response to the riots.
- Under Walz’s leadership, Minnesota gives free college tuition to illegal immigrants.
- Walz signed a bill into law that will give driver’s licenses to potentially 77,000 eligible illegal aliens.
- Walz openly championed socialism last week during a “White Dudes” for Harris event.
- Waltz was also a radical member of the House of Representatives, with Heritage Action giving him a lifetime score of 13 percent.
- Walz attempted to cover up President Joe Biden’s state of fitness for office in January.
Walz is no different from his fellow radical climate nuts, following in the footsteps of California, where Harris formerly served as senator. A 2019 Star Tribune story notes Walz’s attitude at the time, declaring that his state would implement “stricter emissions standards for cars, trucks, and SUVs.”
Here’s how they wrote it.
“Minnesota will adopt stricter emissions standards for cars, trucks and SUVs, aligning itself with California in a battle with the Trump administration over energy conservation and air pollution.”
At the time, Walz said, “It just makes sense,” adding, “It saves money on gas, it increases options and choices, reduces Minnesota’s carbon emissions, and improves health.”
In other words, his administration was going to shove their radical agenda down the throats of Minnesotans, whether they liked it or not. The phony climate change excuse that helps the watermelon people take more of your money.
In a statement given by SBA Pro-Life America President Marjorie Dannenfelser, she said, “Kamala Harris and Tim Walz make up the most pro-abortion presidential ticket America has ever seen. There is no daylight between them on this issue.” She added, “Walz is no moderate when it comes to abortion.”
In the tradition of Kamala Harris, Walz seems to be perfectly fine with millions of illegals climbing over our border wall to sneak into our country.
While interviewing with CNN, Walz appeared to mention former President Donald Trump’s border wall.
“He talks about this wall. I always say, ‘Let me know how high it is. If it’s 25 feet, then I’ll invest in a 30-foot ladder factory,’” Walz stated.
The radical lefty lunatic governor went on.
“That’s not how you stop this. You stop this using electronics. You stop it using more border control agents. You stop it by having a legal system that allows for that tradition of allowing folks to come here — just like my relatives did — to come here, be able to work, and establish the American dream. He’s not interested in that. He wants to demonize.”
It appears Walz is very open to breaking our laws so long as they support his party’s growth. It’s disgusting.
But the most dishonorable thing Walz did was when he chose to leave the military on the eve of his deployment to Iraq. What a coward. Thomas Behrends, another soldier, went in his place. This will not sit well with an overwhelming number of voters.
From the New York Post:
“Behrends, a 63-year-old farmer in Brewster, MN, called the Democratic vice-presidential candidate “a traitor” for retiring from their Minnesota National Guard unit just before their deployment to Iraq in 2005.
“When your country calls, you are supposed to run into battle — not the other way,” the retired command sergeant major told The Post Tuesday. “He ran away. It’s sad.”
“He had the opportunity to serve his country, and said ‘screw you’ to the United States. That’s not who I would pick to run for vice-president.'”
From Breitbart News:
His official bio states:
After 24 years in the Army National Guard, Command Sergeant Major Walz retired from the 1-125th Field Artillery Battalion in 2005. Tim won his first election to the United States House of Representatives in 2006 and was re-elected for another five terms serving Minnesota’s First Congressional District in Southern Minnesota.
Army Lt. Col. Kristen Augé, the Minnesota National Guard’s State Public Affairs Officer, has confirmed that Walz did not retire as an E-9. She wrote in an email:
He retired as a master sergeant in 2005 for benefit purposes because he did not complete additional coursework at the U.S. Army Sergeants Major Academy.
In a letter published November 2, 2018, in the West Central Tribune, two retired Army Command Sergeant Majors named Thomas Behrends and Paul Herr said that Walz was “conditionally promoted” to Command Sergeant Major on September 17, 2004, but wasn’t able to meet the conditions of the promotion, so it was taken away.
They said once his unit was issued orders to go to Iraq, Walz quit.
They also wrote, “He claims to be the highest-ranking enlisted service member ever to serve in Congress. Even though he was conditionally promoted to Command Sergeant Major less than eight months, he quit before his obligations were met, and was reduced to Master Sergeant for retirement. Yes, he served at that rank, but was never qualified at that rank, and will receive retirement benefits at one rank below. You be the judge.”
I’m not telling you who to vote for, but if you do vote for this ticket, you are a straight-up commie.
