Joe Biden unexpectedly exited a Medal of Honor ceremony in the East Room on Tuesday.
Captain Larry L. Taylor of the United States Army received the Medal of Honor from Biden for conspicuous heroism.
On June 18, 1968, Larry L. Taylor got the highest accolade for scooping up four of his fellow troops during a heavy firefight in Vietnam.
“Taylor was a first lieutenant on June 18, 1968, when he deployed in support of a patrol that had been surrounded by an enemy force. Braving intense fire in pitch-black conditions, Taylor and his wingman made low-level attack runs. As they neared the end of their ammunition, Taylor learned that a plan to rescue the patrol had been canceled. So, Taylor decided to extract the team using his two-man Cobra helicopter — something the White House says had never been attempted, let alone accomplished.” According to CBS News.
“Once his team reached the extraction site, Taylor landed his Cobra under heavy fire, with complete disregard for his personal safety,” according to the White House. “The soldiers climbed aboard and Taylor took them to a safe location. That day, Taylor rewrote the stories of the four men he saved for generations, the president said.” the site reported.
Joe Biden wore a Covid mask into the East Room before removing it during the opening prayer.

As Biden slithered away, Medal of Honor recipient Larry Taylor wiped a tear from his face and glanced around confusedly. It was the most disrespectful thing a president could have done.
Biden smiled as he brushed aside Larry Taylor and walked away without even acknowledging he was leaving to the recipient. It was almost as if he only did the ceremony because it was required of him and would look bad if he didn’t.

According to his itinerary, this is Joe Biden’s only public appearance for the day, so where is he going in such a hurry? What will the White House’s stance be this time? This was nearly as disgraceful behavior for this commander-in-chief as when he botched the withdrawal of our troops from Afghanistan and allowed 13 of our military service people to get murdered by Islamic terrorists.
When Donald Trump gave a Medal of Honor, it was an honorary occasion. Trump made the recipients feel the weight of their actions that brought them there that day. The 45th president would behave in ways that the people there, let alone the person receiving the medal, would never forget the ceremony. You could tell it was important to Trump, and not in a way that would get him the limelight.

Even President Barack Obama, though not quite as warm as Trump but much better than Biden, did a very good job making the award recipients feel like their country cared about them and what they did to receive their awards.

This one is an incredible story that Obama tells about Corporal William Carpenter. It was moving in many ways.
Poor Captain Larry L. Taylor had the dumb luck to receive his Medal of Honor when the most disgusting bag of bones who ever sat in the White House was president. What he did was disgraceful. He probably wanted to get to another vacation and was sick of praising someone else for things they did to save lives.
