Biological Male Wins #1 Spot On Girl’s Team After Ranking #72 On Boys Track Team

Aspen Hoffman, a transgender student, helped the Seattle Academy High School girls cross-country team qualify for the state final.

A year ago, Hoffman was a below-average member of the Seattle Academy boys’ cross-country team. Aspen Hoffman, who competed as a boy his freshman year, placed 72nd in the League championships. As a transgender sophomore at Seattle Academy, Hoffman has smashed the school record in the women’s 5000-meter event and is currently first in the League. If Hoffman had run the 5000-meter in the boys’ class, he would have finished 56th. Earlier in the semester, Hoffman placed second at the Districts level, advancing Seattle Academy to the State competition.

Seattle Academy is one of 14 schools in the Emerald Sound Conference. A coach at the conference spoke with Libs of TikTok, and they shared the following information, “allowing [Hoffman] to compete against biological girls deprives other girls’ teams of the chance to compete at State (which is a big deal).  If [Hoffman] competed in the boys’ division, [Hoffman] would place 56th on the boys’ team.”

And it wasn’t only the coach who was disturbed by Hoffman’s string of victories. Many parents of young female athletes in the conference were interviewed as well, and many expressed understandable frustration.

Libs of TikTok is a great Twitter account that I recommend following. All they do is go to the TikTok app, and copy over what the liberals there are posting to Twitter. And Twitter went nuts over it. It’s not like Libs of TikTok edited anything. They just simply posted exactly what they posted on TikTok on Twitter.

“[Hoffman] is larger than any of the girls, and shamelessly takes 1st place on the podium. Now my daughter is competing against a male for scholarships. And we can’t even say anything. You can’t even approach it in a nice way without being labeled a hateful bigot. You will get threats against you,” one father said.

That’s all part of the Marxist playbook. The Marxists break everything down into two sides, the oppressors and the oppressed. If you are deemed an oppressor, you are evil and should be hung by your toenails. If you are deemed one of the oppressed, you will either be knighted or submitted sainthood in the Woke Supremacy.

Parents are scared to raise their concerns about Hoffman being on the girls’ team. Another parent said, “parents are upset but they know it has to go to the state committee, which isn’t politics, it’s the state high school board, and unless there’s any kind of pressure put on them to change the rule nothing’s going to happen.”

The International Olympic Committee (IOC) stated that transgender people could play sports in their reassigned gender as long as they had undergone surgery and at least two years of hormone treatments. In 2007, the Washington Interscholastic Athletic Association (WIAA) adopted this stance. That means that this crap has been going on since 2007. Then, in 2018, WIAA revised their regulations to remove the surgical requirement, stating that “an MTF [Male to Female] student must have one calendar year of medically documented testosterone suppression therapy to be eligible to participate on a female team, consistent with WIAA policy.” However, they ignored all scientific logic and got rid of all criteria for medical testing and hormone therapy in 2021.

“All students should have the opportunity to participate in WIAA athletics and/or activities in a manner that is consistent with their gender identity… Athletes will participate in programs consistent with their gender identity or the gender most consistently expressed. School personnel responsible for student eligibility will work collaboratively with the student-athlete to determine eligibility.” But their policy doesn’t actually cover biological females. Biological anybody people don’t identify their gender. It is self-evident to everyone but the lunatics who run around claiming that they’re in charge of the asylum.

Even more troubling for students and parents was WIAA’s elimination of the right of disgruntled athletes and rival schools to even raise concerns about a trans athlete’s participation in female sports.

The Washington Interscholastic Activities Association’s 2021 Gender Diversity Toolkit outlines the justification for the revisions, which incorrectly claims trans athletes on teams have “not been found to limit opportunities for others” and that there are “no competitive advantages.” That’s just a complete and total BS lie.

The Emerald South Conference’s parents and coaches disagree. They said, “Girls in cross-country frequently peak their freshman or sophomore year. They grow ‘unhelpful’ (for running longer and faster) body parts as they mature. It is the very rare (and not at all curvy) girl that keeps getting better all the way through high school. This is why high school teams tend to be younger girl dominated. The opposite is true of boys. They keep getting bigger and stronger — not growing any unhelpful (breasts and hips) body parts.”

Not only do biological males have bigger lungs, stronger bones, and more muscle mass, but “our daughters are also going through puberty and developing breasts and hips and having a period every month. [Hoffman] doesn’t have any of that and it is also an advantage — apart from his body being different,” one parent said.

When men play sports that are meant for women, they take away opportunities that were created for women. “What about Hoffman’s teammate that was bumped off the varsity? These girls are losing their opportunity to not just get to state but maybe earn a scholarship. Schools can only run seven people on varsity. This means when [Hoffman]  joined the girl’s team a biological girl got pulled back.”

The best thing to do is get yourselves elected to school boards and these organizations that make these unfair rules for girls’ sports.

“This is just about fairness in female sports. It would be just as insane if we made a girl who’s transitioning to be a boy compete against the girls,” one of the league coaches said.

The Left has made it impossible to have a reasonable conversation about biological men competing in female sports, even if it was about safety or science. Instead, they call people who disagree with them “transphobes” and “hateful bigots” just to shut them up. Their methods, unfortunately, only make biological girls’ achievements look less impressive and keep them from having the same chances to play sports as biological males.

The left in our country are used to winning by rigging the system. Whether it is in high school sports or at the ballot box during political elections, the left always seeks out an unfair advantage over their opponents. You have to wonder if it’s ever going to end.
