California Democrat Governor Gavin Newsom and state Attorney General Rob Bonta announced Saturday an inquiry into the arrival of migrants to a Sacramento church to investigate if kidnapping or other crimes occurred.
According to a statement released by Newsom, more than a dozen migrants were transferred from Texas to New Mexico before being flown to Sacramento and dumped on the doorstep of a local church “without any advance warning.” Does the governor of a sanctuary state think Texas or any other border states get an advanced warning when tens of thousands of illegals pour over his border thanks to the Democratic Party’s immigration policies from DC?
“We are working closely with the Mayor’s office, along with local and nonprofit partners to ensure the people who have arrived are treated with respect and dignity, and get to their intended destination as they pursue their immigration cases,” Newsom said. By next week, Newsom will probably start shipping them out to other jurisdictions just like other sanctuary city leaders.
The governor stated that the migrant arrivals would be investigated to establish who was responsible for their transportation and any criminal activity.
“My Administration is also working with the California Department of Justice to investigate the circumstances around who paid for the group’s travel and whether the individuals orchestrating this trip misled anyone with false promises or have violated any criminal laws, including kidnapping,” he added.
Bonta submitted a supplementary statement in which he said the migrants had documents claiming to be from Florida. Way to go, Governor DeSantis.
VISIT OUR YOUTUBE CHANNEL“We are investigating the circumstances by which these individuals were brought to California,” he said. “We are also evaluating potential criminal or civil action against those who transported or arranged for the transport of these vulnerable immigrants. While this is still under investigation, we can confirm these individuals were in possession of documentation purporting to be from the government of the State of Florida.” Good luck with that.
Why don’t these Democrat clowns come out against the Biden administration luring these people here and allowing them into the country in the first place? They’re all a bunch of hypocrites.
“While we continue to collect evidence, I want to say this very clearly: State-sanctioned kidnapping is not a public policy choice, it is immoral and disgusting,” Bonta said.
Can you imagine this guy is arguing that people who came here illegally are being “kidnapped” by signing forms to allow them to be transported to other areas of the country without ever mentioning the burden these illegals put on our own citizens, our services, and resources that citizens pay for?
Bonta continued. “We are a nation built by immigrants and we must condemn the cruelty and hateful rhetoric of those, whether they are state leaders or private parties, who refuse to recognize humanity and who turn their backs on extending dignity and care to fellow human beings.”
It is unknown who is to blame for the migrants’ relocation to California at this time, but multiple states have transferred migrants to sanctuary cities such as Eric Adams’ New York City, Lori Lightfoot’s Chicago, and Muriel Bowser’s Washington, D.C., amid a surge of migrant crossings at the US-Mexico border.
Texas Republican Governor Greg Abbott has stated that he will continue to send buses of migrants to these cities until the federal government resolves the border issue. Last summer, migrant relocations from Texas began.
The southern border immigration dilemma has also spread to states that do not border Mexico. Last year, Florida Republican Governor and presidential candidate Ron DeSantis flew migrants from Florida to Martha’s Vineyard, where they lasted about 24-48 hours before being kicked out and shipped somewhere else, and Colorado Democrat Governor Jared Polis moved illegals to self-described sanctuary cities sometime earlier in the year.
“California and the Sacramento community will welcome these individuals with open arms and provide them with the respect, compassion, and care they will need after such a harrowing experience,” Bonta said in a statement. No comments on the respect and compassion for their own citizens, but then again, that’s the Democratic Party way. And that’s probably because Democrat politicians are responsible for their communities being handed hundreds if not thousands of illegals, who will drain their jurisdictions, with their idiotic sanctuary policies.
