According to Microsoft, hackers exploited a weakness in its code to grab emails from government departments and agencies, and other clients.
In a blog post published on Friday, a corporation said that Chinese hackers were able to carry out their cyber espionage campaign by exploiting “a validation error in Microsoft code.”
The blog provided the most detailed explanation yet for a cyberattack that shook the cybersecurity sector as well as China-US relations. Beijing has categorically denied any involvement in the spying. Of course, they did.
On Wednesday night, Microsoft and US officials reported that Chinese state-run hackers had been secretly accessing email accounts at around 25 companies since May.
According to US officials, at least two US government agencies were included.
Microsoft has not revealed any of the hack’s targets, although many victims, including individuals from the State Department, the Commerce Department, and the United States House of Representatives, have confirmed being affected.
According to a senior State Department official, Secretary of State Antony Blinken, a dirty criminal who was involved in the Biden crime family adventures, told China’s top diplomat, Wang Yi, during a meeting in Jakarta, Indonesia, on Thursday, that any action targeting the US government, US companies, or American citizens “is of deep concern to us, and that we will take appropriate action to hold those responsible, accountable,” as told by a senior State Department official.

Close coordination between the U.S. government and the private sector will be critical to countering this threat.”
When you think about how the Biden administration allowed a Chinese spy balloon to float over the country snapping pictures and sending real-time video and data back to Beijing, it creates a lack of faith that our federal government is going to do anything about this hacking. I am one of those who is convinced that Joe Biden is a controlled asset of the CCP. He has done everything he could to help China when he had a choice of doing so or not, including selling the communist country 7 million barrels of oil that came from our strategic petroleum reserve during a time when gasoline prices were ridiculously high. That oil is supposed to be for our military in the event they have to go to war.
Microsoft’s own security policies have come under criticism, with officials and lawmakers urging the Redmond, Washington-based business to give its highest degree of digital auditing, commonly known as logging, free of charge to all of its customers.
So the Chinese hacked into US government emails. Now what?
