Who was the second-biggest loser of the 2024 election? The individual in question is none other than Sen. Chuck Schumer (D-NY). Once the powerful Majority Leader of the U.S. Senate, he’s now demoted to the glamorous role of Minority Leader. Ouch.
What caused Schumer’s trip down the ranks? Schumer’s enthusiastic support for President Biden’s maximum immigration policy did not benefit him in any way. This policy attracted a staggering 11-18 million migrants from the south, which not only led to the defeat of Vice President Kamala Harris but also resulted in the loss of three Democratic-held Senate seats. The loss of those three seats resulted in a 53-seat Republican majority in the Senate, thereby relegating Schumer to minority status.
The irony is that Schumer has a history of self-inflicted political missteps. This isn’t the first time he did a political faceplant. Back in 2014, the Democrats lost five Senate seats after President Obama’s obsession with illegal migration and his push for the “Gang of Eight” amnesty bill. Schumer backed that plan too, sacrificing his shot at Majority Leader in 2015. You’d think he’d have learned from that disaster, but apparently not.
In 2022, Schumer resumed his efforts, fervently advocating for Biden’s migration policies, as if he had completely forgotten the outcome of 2014. Under the leadership of Alejandro Mayorkas, Biden’s pro-migration border chief, this strategy became a cornerstone of the Democrats’ platform—and a political grenade.
Fast forward to 2024, and history repeats itself. Democrats lost seats because of their “come one, come all” migration stance, and their senators weren’t shy about pointing fingers. “We destroyed ourselves on the immigration issue in ways that were entirely predictable and entirely manageable,” one Democrat senator told The Hill on November 29. “That’s political malpractice.”
Let’s rewind for a moment. Schumer has long been enamored with the idea of migration over prioritizing American citizens. In 2020, he waxed poetic to pro-migration business leaders:
VISIT OUR YOUTUBE CHANNEL“We’re nothing if we’re not a Nation of Immigrants.”
In reality, we are a nation of citizens. I was born here; therefore, I am not an immigrant. Just because my grandparents came here in the early 20th century does not make me an immigrant. I am a natural-born US citizen.
Schumer even shared a personal anecdote dripping with sentimental nostalgia:
“Immigrants built this country with their hands, enriched our culture with their minds and spirit, and provided the spark that drives our economy. Many of you may not know this; My middle name is Ellis. Guess what? I was named after Uncle Ellis, who was named after Ellis Island… our second daughter, we chose her middle name to be Emma for the poet Emma Lazarus.”
Touching, right? But let’s not ignore the reality: Migration policies also benefit the wealthy elites who donate to Schumer. In places like New York City, an influx of low-wage migrants boosts real estate wealth and slashes local labor costs—conveniently masking the city’s failure to reform its broken systems.
On November 16, 2022, Schumer openly called for amnesty for all illegal aliens roaming the country.

Take note of Chuck’s statement that there are 11 million undocumented individuals in the country. They’ve been saying 11 million are in the country for over three decades. It’s as if they want you to believe that for every illegal who crosses the border into our country, an illegal leaves the United States at the same time. It’s ridiculous, but they think Americans are stupid enough to believe their lies.
Schumer’s party remains cozy with billionaire donors like Mark Zuckerberg, who’ve got plenty to gain from cheap labor and fresh consumers. Zuckerberg’s FWD.us has been cheerleading mass migration since its inception in 2014, helping push the infamous “Gang of Eight” bill. When that effort flopped, they doubled down, backing Biden and Mayorkas’s open-door approach. The results? Roughly 11–18 million migrants later, Biden’s policy alienated swing voters just in time to boost Trump in the final week of the 2024 campaign.
On November 5, Schumer lost the Senate majority for the second time. He governed the Senate in a dictatorial manner, excluding all Republicans in discussions about bills and policies and ensuring that the Democrats sided with him on all crucial votes. Yet, as soon as he realized he had lost the majority, he called for unity and bipartisanship. The only way to respond to Schumer would be, “Screw you, Chuck.”
Perhaps it’s time for Chuck to rethink his priorities—or at least brush up on his history lessons. The American people do not like illegal immigration because it has negative consequences for their lives. Until then, he’s back in the Minority Leader chair, dreaming of what could have been. He lost the gavel because he forgot that he represented the American people in New York, not the illegal aliens throughout the country.
If President Trump gets his way, all the efforts to flood our country with illegal aliens to give the Democrats more power were for naught because Trump has promised the largest deportation program in US history.
