Representative Cori Bush (D-MO), a member of AOC‘s “Squad” of radical progressive leftist House Democrats, triggered a firestorm of backlash on Sunday the 4th of July when she said Independence Day is not about celebrating freedom for all.
According to the rabble-rouser congresswoman from Missouri, black people “still aren’t free” and America is “stolen land.” She also believes that people who assert that Independence Day is about celebrating freedom, that they mean for white people only.
VISIT OUR YOUTUBE CHANNELWhen they say that the 4th of July is about American freedom, remember this: the freedom they’re referring to is for white people.
This land is stolen land and Black people still aren’t free.

So now, Cori Bush believes she can read people’s minds. I think the people of her district should be ashamed of themselves. How could they have voted for such a hateful person to represent them in Congress? Would they want this woman visiting their children’s classroom to give a little pep talk?
What possessed her to write that on Independence Day? She is a black woman who is a member of the United States House of Representatives and she thinks freedom is only for white people? It’s people like Bush who want to stir up anger and hatred for the country. Never satisfied with any progress made over all the evil things the Democratic Party, her party, did to black people for centuries.
It’s pretty clear she hates America. Bush runs her mouth regularly advocating for radical leftist progressive nonsense. Last month she lauded the passage of a bill that made Juneteenth a national holiday. But that wasn’t enough. She then celebrated on social media by calling for reparations.
Great. Let’s get it done and do reparations next. https://t.co/Kc6Lm76PsB

Think about this. Former President Donald Trump was banned by Twitter for inciting a riot after saying people will “march peacefully and patriotically,” and yet this creep still has an account and may post such un-American drivel.
Her post caught heat and a quick backlash from Americans of all stripes.
Buzz Patterson, a congressional candidate, responded to Bush’s hateful tweet.
“Singlehandedly, @CoriBush has dishonored every Black person who ever fought for this nation, sprinkled a little Marxism into the mix, and lied about the history of America.
Well done, Democrats. Well done.”

“Awful take, particularly from an elected official. The freedom this country provides is intended for everyone. That we have fallen far short of this ideal does not invalidate it; it just means we all need to work harder to make it true.”

Allie Beth Stuckey, host of “Relatable,” responded with some alternatives.
“If you believe this, the moral thing to do would be to leave for a more virtuous country where black people are free and the land wasn’t stolen. Maybe there you’ll be able to run for political office.”

For all the complaining that people like Cori Bush do about America, there is no other country on earth where black people can be more successful than here in the United States.
Andy Ngô, editor at large for The Post Millennial, offered a suggestion to remedy Bush’s grievances:
Should the United States be dissolved in your opinion and people deported to their ethnic country of origin (rather recent or historical)?

Raheem Kasasm, editor-in-chief of The National Pulse let the congresswoman know what he thought of her choice words.
You are such a slovenly little race grifter.

Stephen Copeland of Baltimore let the Squad member know she doesn’t speak for him.
“Speak for your damn self! I’m free and free indeed! 59 years old and retired tractor trailer driver! Started my own LLC. Strengthen The Community! Help feed and house the homeless and less fortunate individuals and families! Helping to change the quality of their Lives! Freedom”

Talk show host Tim Young asked the ultimate question.
“Wait…. how are you a member of Congress is you aren’t free?”

Josh Barnett, a Republican Congressional candidate from Arizona congratulated Bush for her achievements.
“This is the single dumbest thing I’ve read in 3 days. It’s quite a feat because I read a lot of dumb stuff every day. So, congratulations?!!“

32-year Air Force combat veteran Col. Rob Maness (Retired) gave Bush a piece of his mind.
“You are a sad excuse for a sitting elected official. This land was conquered and tamed by individuals of all colors and you dishonor them. You are free, free to live in any other country you wish traitor.”

As of this writing, Bush has yet to respond to the negative feedback her anti-American tweet triggered.
