Detroit School Superintendent At School Board Meeting: ‘Our curriculum is deeply using critical race theory’ [VIDEO]

Earlier this month, the Detroit Public Schools Community District superintendent said that schools in his district are “deeply using critical race theory,” claiming students must learn about historical injustice in the United States “to better understand who they are.”

Superintendent Nikolai Vitti made the comments during a November 9 school board meeting.

“Our curriculum is deeply using critical race theory, especially in social studies, but you’ll find it in English, language arts, and the other disciplines,” Vitti said. “We’re very intentional about creating a curriculum, infusing materials and embedding critical race theory within our curriculum.”

Vitti is pushing the racist critical race theory because he believes students need to comprehend the nation’s history “to better understand who they are, and about the injustices” that happened in the US.

There is nothing in the code of law today anywhere in the United States that discriminates against people on the basis of race. It has been illegal to do that since 1964. There is nothing legally in the US that will keep a black person from achieving their dreams using their God-given talents.

Forty-nine years ago, I was in grade school and I was taught about the horrors of slavery. No one has ever tried to hide that dark part of America’s past and every race baiter who says we do knows they are full of bullschtein. In fact, the only thing that is not being taught about slavery in schools is that it was an institution of the Democratic Party. They want to teach children that America is responsible for slavery when it was the Democratic Party.

At no time in our history were there not abolitionists about fighting to end the horrible practice of slavery. There were always Americans fighting to end the slave trade from the very beginning. And I believe that most Americans want the history of slavery taught in our schools. Just not the perversions of real history that the CRT crowd wants to teach.

The race hustlers pushing critical race theory want people to believe that slavery from over 150 years ago is holding back black Americans today. What’s holding back black Americans today is still the Democratic Party. Every large city run by Democrats for nearly a hundred years have the same problems: high unemployment, high poverty rates, high drug and alcohol addiction, frightening high school dropout numbers, high property crime, high violent crime. Progressive Democrat policies breed poverty, violence, and death. That’s not America doing it. The problem for many in those city neighborhoods is you can’t keep calling it oppression when you vote for it and they keep voting for it.

CRT is child abuse in schools used to make the woke feel good about themselves.

The non-woke among us have been speaking out against critical race theory, so much so that the Biden Attorney General got the FBI to create profiles of parents who complained to school boards like an East German list.

Black parents are no different from many white parents in that they are speaking out strongly against critical race theory. They understand that CRT tells white kids they are racist and black kids they are oppressed victims all because of the skin color they were born with. That’s child abuse, if you ask me.

If the superintendent of Detroit schools wants his students to grow up hating other races, hating America, and hating themselves, okay, but if the parents of that school district rise up with enough numbers they may save their kids a lifetime of anger, frustration, and feeling worthless.
