A famous scholar has asked for Harvard University President Claudine Gay to be fired immediately to bring the school “back towards sanity” after she allegedly plagiarized the work of other academics 40 times.
Dr. Carol Swain, a former Vanderbilt University political science professor, claims Gay stole elements of a book she authored in 1993 and an article she published in 1997 without citing her.
“Fire Claudine Gay posthaste,” Swain wrote on X on Thursday as part of a post titled “some free unsolicited advice for Harvard University.”
“She can be relieved of duties until the terms are negotiated,” she added.
“Hire the best man or woman who can steer the university back towards sanity.”
She also advised the Ivy League school to quit “appeasing the Marxist identity politics mob,” stating that it “should not be a consideration” in its decision-making processes.

Swain also called on the Ivy League institution to “apologize to alumni, students, parents, and donors who have been harmed and embarrassed.”
Swain added, “Have a sit down conversation with the people who have been harmed by the plagiarism of Gay and the system that protects her.”
Dr. Swain took to social media to vent her frustration at how woke politics has destroyed ivy league institutions.
“I have some free unsolicited advice for Harvard University.
1. Stop listening to the apologists for plagiarism.
2. Fire Claudine Gay posthaste. She can be relieved of duties until the terms are negotiated.
3. Stop listening to the racist mob of whites and blacks who cry racism while being among the worst offenders.
4. Hire the best man or woman who can steer the university back towards sanity. Appeasing the Marxist identity politics mob should not be a consideration. The person for the job might be a middle to older age white Jewish man who believes in classical liberalism.
5. Have a sit down conversation with the people who have been harmed by the plagiarism of Gay and the system that protects her.
6. Recognize that Harvard’s systematic racism and classism have far reaching effects.
7. Apologize to alumni, students, parents, and donors who have been harmed and embarrassed.”

She said she was “weighing options” in answer to a follower’s question about whether she planned to sue Claudine Gay.
Plagiarism charges against Gay arose earlier this month, with claims that she plagiarized other scholars’ work in her 1997 PhD thesis and that four papers published between 1993 and 2017 lacked proper credit.
Gay remains president of the college, and a university investigation cleared her of scientific wrongdoing.
According to the Wall Street Journal, even though she will update attribution in three instances of her work, on Thursday the university said it is standing by her. They created this woke monster, and so they feel as though they have to defend her, lest they look like fools.
