So, this just happened on HBO’s Real Time. Senator John Fetterman — yes, that John Fetterman — actually said something that makes sense for once. And because we live in a time where truth is treated like contraband, it needs to be repeated.
Let’s start with what he said about the so-called “genocide” narrative. Fetterman declared, “There was never a genocide. … This is a 20-month war. If Israel’s goal was to eliminate as many Palestinians, they could’ve done a lot more of that.”
Now hold on—did a Democrat just debunk the most repeated lie from the left-wing anti-Israel mobs? Yes. Yes, he did.
Fetterman didn’t stop there. He laid out something you’re not allowed to say on most campuses or in most newsrooms: “They were forced to fight through where they embed, Hamas embeds into hospitals and in the schools and the camps as well.”
In other words, Hamas hides behind civilians. That’s their strategy. You’d think that’d be common knowledge by now, but in this age of moral theater, clarity is a rarity.
And then he really went off-script. He said:
VISIT OUR YOUTUBE CHANNEL“So, for me, where we’re at right now, where they are, people are putting Israel to a double standard. Now, Hamas could just simply just — you have human beings under [the] ground for over 600 days, held against their will, send those people home and disarm, and there would be peace and we could all move on right now.”
Yeah. That’s not some radical Zionist talking. That’s a sitting U.S. Senator who’s watched his own party slowly lose its mind. And he’s right: there could be peace right now if Hamas released the hostages and laid down its arms. But they won’t—because that’s not the goal. The goal is to keep the conflict alive.

Fetterman continued:
“So, for me, it’s really, for me, Israel was not starving people, there was no kind of a genocide, there [are] no war crimes. [This] just was an [existential] war.”
Let that sink in. According to a Democrat, this wasn’t genocide. It wasn’t ethnic cleansing. It was what happens when a country is attacked by terrorists who use civilians as shields. That’s not a war crime. That’s war reality.
And then came the part that’s practically illegal to say on MSNBC:
“And, now, we all have to be honest, you could never have — to rebuild Gaza, which we have to rebuild Gaza — if Hamas is allowed to be in force. It’s just — we just have to be honest. And I think that’s really the truth.”
He said it twice: we just have to be honest. Maybe that should be the Democratic Party’s new slogan. Though at this rate, they’d probably boo it off the stage.
And just when you thought it couldn’t get more shocking, Fetterman went nuclear:
“And our party, the Democratic Party, has lost that argument and they’ve taken side with the regime that doesn’t have the kind of values and live the kind of ways that we want here in our country.”
BAM!
He’s calling out his own party for siding with a terrorist regime — one that throws gay people off rooftops, subjugates women, and uses children as cannon fodder. And he’s not wrong. The Democratic Party has, in many ways, lost its moral compass. They’ve chosen slogans over facts, mobs over values, and now—Hamas over sanity.
And what’s even more terrifying is that this isn’t some fringe corner of the Democrat base anymore—it’s the mainstream. You’ve got Ivy League students cheering for Hamas, members of Congress waving terrorist flags on Capitol Hill who can’t even say the word “hostage” without a focus group. This isn’t anti-war—it’s anti-reality. It’s a moral collapse dressed up in hashtags and protest signs, and Fetterman, of all people, is the one sounding the alarm.
Full disclosure: John Fetterman is my senator. I did not like him in the beginning because 1) he is a Democrat, and I believe that party set out to destroy our little experiment called The United States. 2) he suffered a stroke during the campaign and refused to step down because his party ordered him to stay in the race. That’s not conjecture, it is a fact. And now, the same party’s Gestapo leadership are kicking themselves in the pants because John Fetterman sounds more like a common-sense moderate than a Democrat.
When Fetterman is the voice of reason, you know the rest of the party has gone completely off the rails.
