Former House Speaker Newt Gingrich Says Midterm Elections Will Be a ‘Republican Tsunami’ Much Bigger Than Anticipated [VIDEO]

On Friday, former House Speaker Newt Gingrich said on Fox News’ “America’s Newsroom” that the House Republicans will take back a majority in the November midterms in what he terms a “Republican tsunami.”

Gingrich said House Republican leader, “Kevin McCarthy, over a year ago, asked his members to form 7 working groups. They have produced at their website, commitmenttoamerica.com. they have over a hundred and fifty specific pledges.”

He added, “I think it’s ironic that Nancy Pelosi would talk about it as extreme. If you think locking up criminals is extreme, if you think controlling the borders is extreme, if you think energy independence is extreme, if you think stopping inflation is extreme, then you’re probably a left-wing Democrat.” BOOM!

Gingrich added, “I think what Kevin McCarthy is trying to do and what I saw yesterday with his members, he succeeded. He is laying out a platform for governing, not just a platform for campaigning.”

“I think the American people want to change the trajectory,” Gingrich added. “They want to stop the murders. They want to stop the rising prices. They want to get back to independence in energy. And I think that the commitment to America that the House Republicans are launching provides exactly the kind of things that the American people would like to replace the current failures with.”

“The truth is, and you know this, the two of you [Fox hosts], when you go to the grocery store, you know it ain’t working because it’s too expensive. I just paid $5.05 a gallon of gasoline last Saturday. It ain’t working. It’s too expensive. You watch the evening news and see the local murder rate. You know it’s not working. That is why I think this will be a much bigger Republican tsunami than people currently expect.”

When you think about what the Democratic Party did to the country at the state and federal level over the last few years, it’s mind boggling.

Between lockdowns and other mandates, the level of control the politicians took over people’s lives and businesses was just too much. At the state and local levels, they invented powers they did not have. They just took them. And they did it very quickly and with abandon. They closed churches violating the First Amendment. They deemed among the American people was were essential and who was not.

Until it was exposed, the Biden administration started targeting parents who told school board members they didn’t want critical race theory and gender affirming nonsense taught to their kids in classrooms as domestic terrorists.

President Joe Biden gave a bully pulpit speech on September 1 outside Independence Hall in Philadelphia, PA, the birthplace of our nation where he attacked half the country by declaring voters who support his likely 2024 election opponent Donald Trump as “MAGA Republicans” who he said are “extremists” and are a “threat to our republic.” The President of the United States put a target on the backs of over 74 million Americans.

Cable news networks smiled with glee over the speech, praising Biden for “finally standing up to the extremists” on the right.

While FBI whistleblowers are coming out of the woodwork exposing serious problems within the federal law enforcement agency, problems that are now systemic, agents at the same time are raiding the homes of well-known people for simply supporting Donald Trump in an intimidation operation that sends the message that if you support Donald Trump, this is what’s going to happen to you.

While Democrats lie about Republicans being violent extremists without an ounce of evidence to back up their rhetoric, Americans who lived through the last few years know what’s been going on. They’re not stupid. They know that their standard of living has gone down since the perfect storm of Democrat control over the country started. Everything costs more. Freedoms are vanishing. They are being censored. They are being controlled in ways Americans have never seen before. People lost their jobs for not taking experimental medicine.

The Democrats created a new fascism where they got woke corporations to do their dirty work for them. When those corporations finally come out and tell all about how they were nudged, suggested, and forced to do the party’s bidding, I think it will be the political scandal of the century.

What’s worse is, the rhetoric that came from Democrat politicians, enhanced by their marketers in the misinformation fake news media, turned Americans against each other. We have Americans who are now willing to rat out their neighbors if they don’t abide by Democrat narratives. People you don’t know would virtue signal you if you weren’t wearing a mask outside. A 41-year-old man in North Dakota recently ran over an 18-year-old young man, killing him, because of a political argument and the suspect is using Joe Biden’s rhetoric to claim he thought the young man was part of an extremist Republican group.

The Democrats over the last few years have become a lawless party. When you ignore constitutional limitations and act on your own, you are lawless. When you act to violate the First, Second, Fifth, and Eighth Amendments for political gains, you are lawless. When you create a committee spending taxpayer dollars to interfere in elections, something millions of Americans believe was the purpose of the January 6 Committee, you are lawless. How many times was the Biden administration struck down by the Supreme Court for things they did where they had no authority to do?

It has become obvious now that many Democrats who voted for Joe Biden did so because he was the supposed moderate choice against Bernie Sanders and Elizabeth Warren. They thought that Biden was going to unite the country with moderate policies and they are now wringing their hands after seeing how Biden has governed with total control and how he attacks Americans who disagree with him.

Something has to change and the only way is by getting out and voting these dangerous Democrat politicians out of office, as many as we can, in the November midterm elections. Hopefully, then the country can begin to heal once the tyrants are out of power.

If the world is a just place, the Democrats will take pounding in November and they have no one but themselves to thank for it.
