Former Navy SEAL Chris Beck, who gained national attention in 2013 after coming out as Kristin Beck in an interview with CNN’s Anderson Cooper, announced Thursday that he is de-transitioning back to being a man after realizing he was “propagandized” and “used badly by a lot of people,” according to the Daily Caller.
During an interview with political journalist Robby Starbuck, Beck declared his intention to de-transition. Beck discussed how the media used him to promote transgenderism and cautioned about the hazards of minors transitioning throughout the two-hour interview.

“What I see as conversion right now is the fact that you had a psychologist, you had CNN, you had everybody else,” Beck said. “You have the entire media. Everyone is converting all these kids into transgender.”
A psychologist told the former Navy SEAL, who served on special operations teams for 20 years, that he was transgender after a single one-hour appointment. Anne Speckhard, the same psychologist, then duped Beck into co-authoring a book.
“I got taken advantage of,” Beck said. “I got propagandized. I got used badly by a lot of people who had knowledge way beyond me that they knew what they were doing.”
VISIT OUR YOUTUBE CHANNELBeck mentioned that he had reservations about publishing “Warrior Princess” with Speckhard midway through composing it. However, Beck claims that the co-authored book was published without his authorization.
Beck told Starbuck that the psychologist “love-bombed” him when they first met and got him to write the book that made her a fortune. Beck claims he was inundated with media interest after the book’s release.
Beck was interviewed about his transformation process by CNN’s Anderson Cooper a few days after the book was released. Beck now alleges that the news organization “used” him and “destroyed [his] life.”
The former Navy SEAL talked about how coming out against the transgender movement, which he called a “cult” numerous times during the interview, would have him kicked out of the community.
“If they think that their narrative is so sacred that you can’t even speak out against it, as soon as you say something, you’re out,” said Beck. “You’re excommunicated. You are a Nazi. They ramp it up so fast.”
Beck discussed the danger of medical practitioners’ “automatic acceptance” of youngsters who self-identify as transgender. He went on to say that doctors should demand “a minimum number of sessions” before enabling minors to undergo life-changing hormone therapy or gender-mutilating operations.
“There’s a lot of complications with these surgeries,” Beck indicated. “And that’s a part that they don’t really talk about.”
Beck told Starbuck that he came on the show to accept “full responsibility” for pushing gender dogma and admitted that he was “naive” at the time. He expressed concern that children are “being talked into this.”
“I don’t want this to continue, and I don’t want these kids to get hurt,” Beck said.
Here’s another interview with Beck where he explains why he is de-transitioning.
