Here we go again. The spineless members of the GOP are favoring nominating and electing former George Soros lackey Tom Emmer for Speaker of the House. This would be a huge mistake because he could possibly be worse than John Boehner, Paul Ryan, or Kevin McCarthy. We are told that he has reformed, but how many times have we seen someone elected or selected as a conservative and once in office they revert to their true self?
Emmer was a spokesman for the George Soros group, The National Popular Vote initiative, which sought to eliminate the Electoral College in favor of the popular vote. That would allow New York and California to decide every single presidential election. For an example, Hillary was soundly defeated in the 2016 election and Democrats screamed about the popular vote which Hillary won by 2.7 million votes. But, she won California by over 4.3 million votes. Swing states could no longer have a voice in electing a president.
The New York Post reported:
The National Popular Vote campaign launched in 2006 to support efforts to overhaul the Electoral College by passing laws that commit state electors to the candidate who wins the national popular vote.
About five years after the initiative’s launch, Emmer took a job as one of the group’s paid spokespeople.
“I believe it’s going to end up favoring Republicans … if you believe in our message,” Emmer said in a 2011 video interview posted on the website of Pennsylvania public affairs firm Triad Strategies.

A vote for Emmer is a vote for the Jack Smith corrupt investigation:
The source of MAGA World’s grievances against Emmer are manifold: Emmer voted to certify Joe Biden’s 2020 election. As the head of the National Republican Congressional Committee in 2022, he reportedly implored Republican candidates in the midterms to distance themselves from Trump. And he’s been telling GOP donors that he won’t support Trump’s 2024 presidential primary campaign. “You can’t have the majority leader of the Republican Party being very anti-Trump and against his agenda,” one source close to Trump tells TIME. “That’s just not going to work. There’s no trust there.”
As the GOP’s current House Majority Whip, he’s next in line to move up the leadership chain. But Trump loyalists insist that the former President, who has a commanding lead in virtually all of the Republican primary polls, would have a hard time working with Emmer if he’s elected president next year.
They cite an August 2022 story on CNN.com that quotes Emmer telling GOP candidates to “focus on the issues that matter to voters” as a sign of his disloyalty. Another Republican strategist who participated in NRCC meetings at the time tells TIME that Emmer counseled House candidates to avoid talk of Trump. “Tom Emmer repeatedly told candidates across the country not to cozy up to Donald Trump because he could be a drag on their race,” the operative says.
