Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) (AOC) claimed that a Supreme Court justice is a threat to democracy because he raised a flag at his beach home last year.
AOC made an appearance on MSNBC to criticize Justice Samuel Alito for displaying a Revolutionary War-era flag with a pine tree and the motto “An Appeal to Heaven” at his New Jersey vacation home last summer. There is nothing wrong with the flag. You won’t believe the excuse AOC is using to push her faux outrage to go after a Supreme Court justice who actually cares about the Constitution, which is always bad for Democrats.
The flag was initially created to be flown on US Navy ships under George Washington’s direct command during the Revolutionary War. On January 6, 2021, several protestors flew the Gadsden Flag, which depicts a snake and the “Don’t Tread On Me” message, as well as the American flag itself.
But there is a single photo of a J6 protester flying the “An Appeal To Heaven” flag, and in AOC’s pea-sized brain, that means Alito is sending out signals to his insurrectionist brethren.
The nitwits on the Left are calling it a MAGA battlefield flag.
And because it was used during the protest, at least in the opinion of the boneheaded New York Democrat, whoever flies it supports the Capitol riot. Or, as the ill-informed like to say, the insurrection.

This would be the same thing as saying there were insurrectionists who wore Nike shoes at the riot, and anyone from now on who wears Nike is showing their support for the insurrectionists. Yes, it’s that absurd.
AOC told host MSNBC host Chris Hayes, “Samuel Alito has identified himself with the same people who raided the Capitol on January 6.”
Only in the warped minds of radical progressive Democrats.
She went on to add that Alito “is now going to be presiding over court cases that have deep implications over the participants of that rally.”
I guarantee he will be more fair than AOC’s Democrat Judge Juan Merchan has been toward former President Donald Trump. He’s working with the prosecution for a conviction.
“And while this is the threat to our democracy, Democrats have a responsibility for demand defending our democracy.”
A SCOTUS justice flies a flag that flew under George Washington, and AOC links it to a single photo of someone holding the same flag at J6. We always knew she was dumb as a box of hair, but now I think we have to come up with a better comparison to capture the real mentality of this woman. AOC has never uttered a word that would force the listener to run for a dictionary.
Ocasio-Cortez went on to say that she has been at the vanguard of defending democracy.
“This is an alarm that I’ve been sounding for quite some time,” she explained.
“I think that what we are seeing here is an extraordinary breach of not just the trust and the stature of the Supreme Court, but we are seeing a fundamental challenge to our democracy.”
But it’s all in her little mind. She is making a false connection, and in the video below, you’ll see the host, Chris Hayes, bobbing his head up and down, agreeing with every mindless thing AOC says.
The radical leftist “Squad” member also proposed that the Democrat-controlled Senate investigate Alito for flying the flag. She wants the Senate to investigate a SCOTUS justice for flying a Revolutionary War era flag at his summer home.
“In the Senate, we have gavels and there should be subpoenas going out,” the progressive remarked.
“There should be active investigations that are happening.”

Ocasio-Cortez stated that House Democrats are prepared to safeguard democracy if they win the majority in November.
“I believe that when House Democrats take the majority, we are preparing and ensuring to support the broader effort to stand up our democracy, but I also believe that when Democrats have power, we have to use it.”
Dopey things like this are why Democrats don’t have power in the House.
This is just the latest flag incident for Alito, who has lately faced criticism from Democrats after his wife flew an American flag upside down at their Virginia home just days before Biden’s inauguration in 2021.
Flying the flag in that manner is often interpreted as a sign of distress, and Democrats believe Alito was making a political statement against then-President-elect Joe Biden. And a justice has the First Amendment right to do whatever he wants with his own flags.
Supreme Court Justices are not meant to express political views, and many liberals have criticized Alito’s use of the upside-down flag as inappropriate. Yet, how do they know Alito himself flew the flag that way?
Actually, Justice Alito has said that his wife was responsible for raising the inverted American flag.
We already know the radical left believe Justice Clarence Thomas needs to step down because his wife Ginny Thomas is a conservative political activist. Does this mean they believe all the spouses of the conservative justices on the court do not have the right to express their political opinions?
In the end, it turned out that Alito’s wife apparently raised the upside-down flag in response to a quarrel she was having with their neighbors at the time.
