Vice President Kamala Harris supported “some form of reparations” for “black people,” according to a newly discovered video from 2019.
A Pew Research poll conducted in 2022 indicated that 68% of Americans oppose reparations. The report’s title is “Black and White Americans are far apart in their views of reparations for slavery.”
Discussions about atonement for the enslavement of Black Americans have a long history in the United States, and efforts toward reparations for slavery and racial discrimination have moved forward in some places in recent years. In 2021, Evanston, Illinois, became the first U.S. city to create a reparations plan for its Black residents, and California that year set up the nation’s first state-level reparations task force. Earlier this year, Harvard University created a $100 million “Legacy of Slavery” fund to allow scholars and students to examine the university’s connections to slavery.
Americans view the prospect of reparations mostly negatively, a 2021 Pew Research Center survey found. Three-in-ten U.S. adults say descendants of people enslaved in the U.S. should be repaid in some way, such as given land or money. About seven-in-ten (68%) say these descendants should not be repaid.
“I think there needs to be some form of reparations, and we can discuss what that is,” Harris told The Root when asked if “black people should get reparations.”

GovTrack’s rating classified Harris as the most liberal senator in 2019, further left than even socialist Senator Bernie Sanders (I-VT), prompting the New York Times authors to assess Harris as the least electable of ten potential Democratic hopefuls.
All Republicans have to do is keep pointing out how she has voted and what she has said she stands for.

Like all slimy Democrats, Harris is trying to walk back a lot of her radical beliefs. She’s now for securing the border after four years of doing nothing to stop the flow of millions of illegals serving as the Border Czar. Harris is now for fracking, and by November, she’ll have tried to convince voters that she always supported fracking. And the big one, the big kahuna reversal, is that Kamala Harris no longer supports single-payer healthcare. And I can nearly guarantee that she would push a universal healthcare plan down America’s throat if elected.

The question that should be asked is, if there are no people alive today who were slaves and there are no people alive who owned slaves, then how can you tell people who never owned slaves that they have to pay money to people who were never slaves?
This might blow your mind, but I agree that there should be some talk about reparations for black Americans who can prove that they are descendants of slaves. And I think that instead of America footing the bill, it should be the Democratic Party. The Democrats were pretty much solely responsible for slavery in America. And since slavery ended, the Democratic Party has tried to convince everyone that it was America that enslaved black people during slavery in America. It was not. It was the Democratic Party and their members who enslaved black people during slavery in America. They also created poll taxes, black laws, segregation, and every other evil that was foisted upon black people in America. And they should be held fiscally responsible for any reparations. The Republican Party was the abolitionist party and was created with the mission to end slavery in America.
The Republican Party, despite the lies and manipulation of the modern day Democratic Party, has never changed its stance on civil rights. And that party and their members shouldn’t have to pay the price for what the Democrats did for all those years.
