The FEC Just Hammered Waters’ Campaign
Turns out Maxine Waters’ 2020 campaign—formally known as Citizens for Waters—violated federal election law. Not just a little slip-up. No, this was full-on, systemic abuse. The kind that gets investigated by the Federal Election Commission. And it did.
The result? Her campaign was slapped with $68,000 in fines, and her treasurer now has to go to a mandatory Commission-sponsored training program for political committees like a misbehaving intern. That’s not all. Waters also paid her daughter $192,000 for campaign “services” via a highly questionable slate mailer operation. Yeah. That’s the kind of thing Democrats would scream about if it were, say, Ivanka Trump.
Naturally, Waters’ camp tried to brush it off as a series of innocent “errors.” But documents released Friday tell a different story. A clear one. Her campaign “repeatedly violated federal law.” The only reason this circus didn’t go to court is that they settled first. Think about that.

This is also the same Maxine Waters who, back in March, brazenly said Melania Trump should be deported. That’s right—deported. This is the same Maxine Waters who has spent years pointing fingers and screaming “corruption” at her political enemies.
And now? People are discovering that she’s the one who’s corrupt.
A judge is finally forcing her to face the consequences. Sure, it’s not the full comeuppance many Americans would love to see—but it’s enough to say justice isn’t totally dead in D.C. The facts are simple: Maxine Waters is a corrupt Democrat.
Same Old Maxine—Still Playing the Racism Card
What’s Waters doing now that she’s been exposed? Oh, right—she’s back on TV accusing Donald Trump and his supporters of everything. Racism, fascism, genocide—you name it. It’s her classic move: throw out wild accusations to distract from her own corruption.
Let’s look at some of the things she’s actually said—yes, she really said this:
“The majority of basically whites in this country [are] willing to accept a dishonorable human being… someone who has been convicted of 34 felonies, someone who has been openly and brazenly racist… who has talked about his love for Putin and Kim Jong-un… and made statements favorable to Hitler.”
Here she is blaming – what else – racism for Trump’s landslide victory.

And she didn’t stop there. She doubled down:
“Racism is the basic point. People don’t like to talk about racism, but the fact of the matter is the majority of his votes are going to come from whites… They’ve been talking all campaign about taking the country back—from whom? From too many minorities who are doing too well.”
Now, when someone brought up the fact that Trump is gaining support among Black and Latino voters—a major shift Waters and her pals don’t want to admit—this was her response:
“There may be some expansion in the Latino community… but all of this talk about getting Black votes I don’t think is true.”
In other words, Maxine Waters is still stuck in the past, clinging to the same divisive, outdated playbook she’s used for years. Meanwhile, Trump’s base is expanding, and Democrats are sweating.
This isn’t Maxine’s first rodeo with being called out for corruption:
A liberal watchdog group, Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics in Washington (CREW), named Maxine Waters one of Congress’s “most corrupt” members in their 2005, 2006, 2009, and 2011 reports. That’s four years.
And she’s not that bright. It’s probably why Trump refers to her as “Low IQ Maxine.”
And, of course, we can’t forget when Waters ordered her Democrat supporters to attack members of Trump’s first cabinet.
