It looks like Northwestern University just couldn’t resist the allure of those pesky pro-Palestinian protesters and their cozy little tent city. I mean, who could say no to a bunch of radicals waving around antisemitic placards and slogans, right?
So, here’s the deal. These protesters set up camp on campus, decorated the place with all sorts of charming banners, and basically made life a living hell for anyone who dared to disagree with them. And what did good ole’ Northwestern do? They caved like a house of sissy cards, that’s what.
Get this: They’re offering scholarships, faculty positions, and even special housing just for Muslim students! Talk about pandering, am I right? And in exchange for these sweet treats, the protesters agreed to take their party elsewhere during the day. Wow, what a bargain!
Apparently, some Jewish kids on campus were feeling a bit… well, frightened by this whole encampment situation. But hey, who cares about their feelings when you’ve got a bunch of self-righteous activists to appease, right?
And the best part? Northwestern is going to raise funds to support all these new goodies they’ve promised. Because nothing says “inclusivity” like throwing money at a problem until it goes away.
According to Daily Northwestern:
VISIT OUR YOUTUBE CHANNELThe University has committed to provide a conduit for students to engage with the Investment Committee of the Board of Trustees. It will also re-establish an Advisory Committee on Investment Responsibility this fall, which will include students, faculty and staff.
…
In addition, the University committed to some support for Palestinian students and faculty in the agreement. NU will “support visiting Palestinian faculty and students at risk,” and will provide the cost of attendance for five Palestinian undergraduates to attend Northwestern.
…
The University also committed to providing an “immediate temporary space for MENA/Muslim students” — a longtime demand from students on campus — and will provide and renovate a house for MENA/Muslims students as soon as possible. The final house is expected to come in 2026.
Local Jewish leaders are understandably pissed, claiming the university abandoned its Jewish students and staff. But hey, at least the protesters got what they wanted. And isn’t that what really matters in the end?
My God, academia is going to hell!
So, there you have it, folks. A tale of capitulation, cowardice, and good old-fashioned kowtowing to the loudest voices in the room. Ah, the joys of modern academia.

Hey there this is somewhat of off topic but I was wanting to know if blogs use WYSIWYG editors or if you have to manually code with HTML. I’m starting a blog soon but have no coding knowledge so I wanted to get guidance from someone with experience. Any help would be enormously appreciated!
