NYC Mayor Eric Adams Says His Illegal Migrants Bused in From Texas Could be Housed on Cruise Ships – AHOY!

You would think Democrats would have learned a lesson by now that you don’t create official policies in your jurisdiction to give the finger to a president you disagree with, especially when it could come back to bite you where the sun doesn’t shine.

Texas Governor Greg Abbott started sending illegal migrants to blue sanctuary cities like Washington, DC where Mayor Muriel Bowser has already twice requested National Guard assistance to get rid of her illegal migrants who arrived there. We’re talking hundreds at this point. Hundreds of migrants and the national’s capital can’t handle them? What kind of sanctuary city is this?

Abbott also sent some of the hundreds of thousands of illegal migrants in his state’s border towns to Lori Lightfoot’s sanctuary city of Chicago, and after virtue signaling how much better she is than Abbott for shipping off his illegals to her city, Lightfoot started shipping them out to the Chicago suburbs. Way to shirk your commitments, sanctuary city.

Then we have New York City, another blue sanctuary for illegal aliens. When Abbott started sending illegal migrants to The Big Apple, Mayor Eric Adams said, “This is horrific.” Not really sticking to the sanctuary trend, is he?

So the NYC shelters have become overwhelmed by Joe Biden‘s illegal migrant crisis and instead of reaching out to the administration and asking them to cut it out, Adams comes up with a scheme of loading illegals onto cruise ships for temporary housing.

“We examined everything from the legality of using any type of cruise ship for temporary housing,” the mayor said during an interview on WCBS Sunday.

“We’re looking at everything to see, how do we deal with this?”

But, but, but, but you and your idiot predecessor Bill de Blasio declared that New York City is a sanctuary city. Remember all the virtue signaling you guys did to make yourselves feel good? You should have prepared for something like this.

It looks like Democrats falsely declared their jurisdictions as sanctuaries because none of them are able to handle a few hundred illegal migrants coming into their cities. Just imagine how overwhelmed Texas and Arizona border towns are when there are an estimated 8,000 new migrants illegally crossing our border each and every day.

The New York Post reported that Adams made the cruise ship suggestion just as nine new buses arrived with more illegal migrants, each one carrying roughly 50 of them.  If my Catholic School math is right, that’s about 450 illegals who are being welcomed into Mayor Adams’ sanctuary.

The influx of illegals is crushing New York’s shelter system with facilities being pushed to the edge, not to mention what it’s doing to the neighborhoods. With nearly two dozen city shelters there just aren’t enough beds.

I think America is finally getting the picture of what’s been going on in our border towns but on a much larger scale.

Cruise ships could help take the pressure off the shelters. It all depends on how they implement the plan. They could also fill up pretty quickly.

The mayor didn’t give any details as to how they will go about using cruise ships if it comes to that. He did slam the federal government though, over forcing illegals to get work permits before they are allowed to work,  Well, it is the law, right? These people are here illegally and so they have no right to work. Why would you give work permits to foreigners who invaded your country? That’s the beauty of being an American citizen. It seems like the Democrats at every turn are trying to denigrate the awesomeness of being a US citizen, cheapening it by letting illegals have some of the benefits, in essence, rewarding them for breaking our laws.

“We’re saying, ‘You could come here, but you are not allowed to work.’ That is unbelievable,” Adams said, mentioning areas that have shortages of  workers, including food, health care and transit.

“We need to look and see what we are facing shortages, how do we go about allowing people to take care of themselves? If not, we, the government, must take care of them. That just makes no sense.”

Not a single one of these mayors has come out publicly against the Biden administration for causing all of the chaos and mayhem on American citizens and the communities they live in that are being overwhelmed with illegals Instead, they have blamed the border states for shipping them off to sanctuary cities. I’m sure behind closed doors they’re letting their favorite four-lettered words fly with abandon.

I’m fairly certain the illegal migrants never thought they would be welcomed to their new housing with a big old, “Ahoy!”
