President Joe Biden has tried to force Saudi Arabia to hold up the reduction of oil production until after the election for purely political reasons. Maybe he should have thought about that before he made this country dependent on foreign oil. When you play with fire, you can get burned. Didn’t the Democrats impeach President Trump for this exact same thing? No, they didn’t. Ukraine denied Trump made the threat, but Saudi Arabia is saying Biden did threaten them.
Biden allegedly told Saudi Arabia that unless they went along, they would not be able to purchase weapons from the United States. If Biden carries out his threat, I’m sure China or Russia would be more than happy to step in and give them whatever they need. Biden never considers what the results of his actions are. All he knows is what George Soros orders him to do. November could be a mixed bag. Republicans could take the House and the Senate, but Soros will still hold the White House.
Biden said there would be consequences for Saudi Arabia, such as refusing them the chance to buy US weapons or allowing lawsuits against them. The Biden caliphate accused Saudi Arabia of making the decision to cut production as being political. Saudi Arabia denies the charge. There is no doubt that in asking them to wait until after the election to cut production is purely political. He wants to hide the fact that he has destroyed this country’s energy independence.
Saudi Arabia said in the statement:
“The Government of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia would also like to clarify that based on its belief in the importance of dialogue and exchange of views with its allies and partners outside the OPEC + group regarding the situation in the oil markets, the Government of the Kingdom clarified through its continuous consultation with the US Administration that all economic analyses indicate that postponing the OPEC+ decision for a month, according to what has been suggested, would have had negative economic consequences.”

Adel Al-Jubeir, the Saudi minister of state for foreign affairs, addressed Democratic threats:
“What I can tell you is that the sale of defensive weapons to Saudi Arabia serves the interests of the U.S. and serves the interests of Saudi Arabia and serves the interests of security and stability in the Middle East. The presence of American forces in the Middle East has been here for many, many decades. They are here to protect the stability and security of the Middle East and the stability and security of the United States.”
“The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the U.S. have had a very strong relationship for eight decades. They have been very close partners in fighting extremism and terrorism and maintaining stability and security in defending the region. And have been very close allies in terms of economic and trade, an investment and we hope that this relationship we’ll look forward to this relationship continuing for the next eight decades.”
If you look at the history of oil production, you will see that peak production under OPEC always follows large-scale drilling in the United States. OPEC increases production because it costs them practically nothing to drill for oil, unlike the United States. They drive the price of oil so low it doesn’t pay to drill in the United States. Both Reagan and Trump proved that.
