The Biden administration has exhibited a lack of readiness to cooperate with congressional Republicans on how to handle the debt ceiling limit, which is rapidly approaching. According to Representative Barry Moore (R-AL), a member of the House Freedom Caucus, it was an act of “arrogance” on the part of the Democrats and the Biden administration. They know that no matter what happens, the misinformation fake news media will defend the administration, and so they got arrogant.
For example, Kevin McCarthy will send a budget to Biden’s desk. Biden will veto it and claim the Republicans want to cause a government shutdown. The fake news media will know that it is Joe Biden causing the shutdown by not negotiating with Republicans who did their job and sent him a budget, but they will blame the Republicans anyway.
My advice for the Republicans is to stand strong because there never really is a government shutdown, anyway. Only 17% of federal workers are considered non-essential – which begs the question of why they have jobs – and they always get back pay when they return to work. Democrats just love to blame government shutdowns on Republicans and for some stupid reason, the Republicans always fall for it. If McCarthy doesn’t back down, he will go down as one of the greatest Speakers of the House. The Republicans are in the right and they should stand up to the tyranny of the Democrats who want to be irresponsible by not only going over the debt ceiling limit with spending, but they want to increase it so that they can then go over that limit as well. It’s time the Republicans put an end to that practice.
Moore stated that they regard Americans as “subjects.”It’s much how when they were the one-party rule in D.C. before we got the House this time, and it was just arrogance,” he added. “It was just, ‘Oh, by the way, the American people are our subjects, and we’ll do as we please.’ President Biden really wants to be king. If he had his way, he’d just get a clean debt ceiling and do whatever he wants to do. We’re just not going to allow that. We’re going to fight every step of the way. The people put us in the majority in the House to do that. I am so pleased we got something out that I think it’s one of the biggest spending cuts in the history of the country.”
The Democrat for decades has been to buy people off. You want a country to do what you want them to do? Give them money. You want voters to vote for you? Buy their votes with things like fighting to increase the debt ceiling with no thoughts about controlling spending.
“Not to pat ourselves on the back too much, Jeff, because the way spending went out of control with COVID, us just reeling all of that back,” Moore added. “I mean, yeah, it’s the largest spending cut in the history of the country. But the Democrats just want to continue on a path of just running it off the cliff. With the COVID money, $783 million went to federal prisoners — checks to federal prisoners, the just kind of crazy spending that we’re all paying a price for in the devaluation of the American dollar and inflation. So, we’ve got to cut it, nip it in the bud, and give our Senate something to fight with.”
