Congressman Paul Gosar (R-AZ) appears to be a no nonsense politician who isn’t afraid of saying the emperor is buck naked.
Gosar recently sent a letter to Attorney General Merrick Garland where he demands the over 14,000 hours of video footage from January 6 that the Department of Justice (DOJ) is currently holding be released. He is also demanding to know the details of what is being reported as torturous conditions in which the January 6 detainees are being held. There are reports of January 6 prisoners, most of whom are being held on misdemeanor charges, are being brutally beaten by guards, stripped, hogtied, and humiliated. One of them is reported to have lost an eye.
Of the videos we have seen there are Capitol police officers opening doors to the Capitol building and waving people inside. Other video feeds show Capitol police who are clearly seen removing barricades and waving people to come through. Those are just the few videos that made the rounds on YouTube and other tech tyrant social media sites before they were removed from their platforms. Imagine all the exculpatory evidence like that which could be found within the 14,000 hours of footage? And yet, like a Soviet Politburo, the Democrat government is hiding them.
The letter was signed by Representatives Louie Gohmert (R-TX), Matt Gaetz (R-FL), and Marjorie Taylor Green (R-GA). The four will hold a press conference on Tuesday outside the DOJ building where they will be demanding answers about the treatment of January 6th prisoners.
Folks, this is gulag-type stuff coming out about what is going on inside the jailhouse where January 6 prisoners are being tortured. And all for trespassing? The hidden video feeds could prove are large portion of the detainees are innocent of charges they are being held on.
As more and more videos of what happened on January 6 surface as detainees are getting handed long prison sentences, Gosar is one of the very few who has suggested that the DOJ is suppressing video footage that could possibly exonerate some of the people who are being accused of crimes committed that day. Did you ever in your life think we would see this day arrive? Did you ever think the democrats would really go as far as to withhold exculpatory evidence? And after we have experienced how nothing happened to the dirty federal cops who spied on the Trump campaign, does anyone think there will be someone who will stop the Nazi-like formalities of the Biden administration?

“The DOJ is obligated to release all the evidence that could exonerate or explain who did what,” tweeted Congressman Gosar.

With the letter to AG Garland sent demanding the 14,000 hours of video feed from January 6 be released on top of answers to questions of torture going on with detainees, the press conference is set for Tuesday at 1 pm et titled “Demanding Answers on Treatment of January 6th Prisoners.” it will be held outside the department of Justice.
From the letter:
“The undersigned offices in one form or another have been requesting the release of all 14,000 hours of raw footage from surveillance cameras. This is a matter of extreme public importance,” notes Gosar, before adding that “Several defendants have already made plea agreements, yet it does not appear that either they, or their counsel, have had access to this potentially exculpatory evidence.”
Many videos captured on January 6 show Capitol Hill police allowing protesters into the building, and even sanctioning their behavior so long as it remained peaceful. It seems logical to many that the 14,000 hours of surveillance video held by the Department of Justice may prove this incontrovertibly. “Every American citizen has a constitutional right to all the evidence before making any decision to go to trial,” Gosar notes, yet adds, “In our oversight capacity over the DOJ, we have asked multiple times for information only to have our inquiries ignored.”
American Greatness obtained an audio file of dozens of January 6 detainees in their jail cells singing the national anthem to boost their morale as they wait for their trials. Many of the detainees are people who are not being charged with violent crimes yet they continue to sit in jail cells for months on end. Many of them are being held in solitary confinement with only one hour a day where they are allowed outside their cell to exercise. They’re not on death row. They are waiting for their trial for misdemeanor charges.
When things get this bad it rarely gets better without the American people speaking out. Let your voices be heard by your representatives. Tell them that in America we do not hold political prisoners in solitary confinement for misdemeanor charges and we don’t torture them.
