Russia Announces They Have Evidence US and UK Were Behind Nord Stream Pipeline Bombings

Russia is proclaiming that they have evidence that the United States and Great Britain were responsible for the bombing of the Nord Stream pipeline. They claim they did this during a joint NATA exercise just before the bombing. That would explain why the US did not allow an independent investigation to take place. Russia also accuses the US of interfering in the investigation into this terror attack. Remember, Democrats most often side with terrorists, especially when they attack Israel.

The USA was “not interested” in an independent investigation of the attack on the Nord Stream pipeline, Russia charged at the UN Security Council. Russian Spokeswoman Maria Zakharova says the reason they opposed the independent investigation is that the US officials involved are lying. Russian UN Ambassador Vasily Nebenzya said he has “the impression Western experts are not interested in an unbiased international investigation. This, of course, only aggravates our suspicions.” Russia wants an independent investigation, but the US is expected to veto the idea.

Nebenzya said at the time:

“We have strong reasons to doubt the effectiveness, transparency, and impartiality of investigations that are being carried out under some national jurisdictions. We do not see our partners being eager to cooperate.”

Reporter Seymour Hersh made4 the accusation at the time that the US planted the explosives during a NATO exercise. Russia made the accusation that they now have proof that the US blew up the Nord Stream gas pipeline.

Russian Foreign Ministry Spokeswoman Maria Zakharova said:

“This evidence exists. As to whether we will publish it—which will also tell you what kind of evidence it is—that would depend on how the situation around the investigation unfolds.”

“Because we have repeatedly offered cooperation to everyone, we did it both publicly and via the available legal channels between law enforcement agencies, we have contacted them repeatedly.”

“Therefore, in my opinion, those who carry out the investigations abroad, in Germany—it has long been clear in Denmark and Sweden—but Germany must be interested in exchanging materials, in obtaining information from us, and in providing corresponding information to us.”

“Moreover, we were ready to present everything that we have within the investigation under the UN aegis, on our initiative. But the West has blocked this as well.”
