According to reports, President Volodymyr Zelensky and other Ukrainian officials embezzled hundreds of millions of American taxpayer dollars sent to Ukraine as aid intended for the purchase of diesel fuel.
According to sources familiar with the situation, the figure might be as high as $400 million, according to veteran journalist Seymour Hersh.
Hersh delves into the alleged endemic corruption within Ukraine’s political elite in his latest Substack piece, implying that the situation is worse than most people believe.
According to a source in the American intelligence community, Zelensky has been buying “discount diesel” from Russia with American dollars and stashing the leftover funds.
“The Ukrainian president and many members of his entourage have been skimming untold millions of dollars from American dollars earmarked for diesel fuel payments,” Hersh wrote.
Analysts at the CIA, he said, estimated the figure at “$400 million last year, at the very least,” while another expert compared the extent of corruption in Ukraine to the war in Afghanistan.
VISIT OUR YOUTUBE CHANNELDuring that period, the United States was spending upwards of $400 per gallon to transport fuel from foreign ports into that country. It’s still unknown how much diesel costs in Ukraine.
According to Hersh, during a meeting in January, CIA Director William Burns challenged Zelensky on the topic of corruption, informing the Ukrainian president that other officials were upset with him for “taking a larger share of the skim money than was going to the generals.”
I hope this news bursts the bobbleheads who support Ukraine in the war with Russia. I’m not saying people should support Putin, but I am saying that we need to take a deeper look at Zelensky, who apparently is just as corrupt, if not more, than the Russian leader.
Burns gave Zelensky a list of high-ranking Ukrainian officials suspected by the CIA to be corrupt, and he fired ten of them for “brazenly bragging about the money they had.”
The US has supplied nearly $35 billion in aid to Ukraine since Russia launched its “premeditated, unprovoked, and brutal war” against the sovereign nation, according to the Bureau of Political-Military Affairs.
While the United States has been by far the most generous donor to support Ukraine, dozens of other countries have stepped up to contribute financial, military, and humanitarian assistance. How much of the assistance has gone into the pockets of corrupt Ukrainian officials? Why not? We know that the Biden crime family made out well from the money laundering scheme they ran through PrivatBank funneling money to the corrupt natural gas company Burisma Holdings paying upward of $85,000 a month salary to Hunter Biden for a no-show job, even though he has zero experience in natural gas, the energy industry, and doesn’t speak Ukrainian.
We know that the failed cryptocurrency firm FTX donated a large sum of money to a Ukraine fund for the war effort and then, magically, the Ukraine government invested heavily in FTX, and the money from that investment found its way into the reelection campaign coffers of every Democrat running in 2022.
