I think there is one universal understanding among people no matter what side of the political spectrum you belong and that is that American culture is in decline. I blame the news media. The press has a First Amendment protection because the Founders understood that the government, even themselves, had to be kept in check so that the American people would not allow them to get away with bad acts. They understood that power tends to make people do things they wouldn’t normally do and an informed electorate would let politicians understand that their job is on the line.
Today, we have a media that is nearly universal in deceit. I’m not talking about the new media, but the mainstream news media and the partisan hacks at Fake News networks like CNN and MSNBC that are supposed to be the watchdog of the American people who have instead become the Pretorian Guard of Democrat leftists in power. For decades now, the American media have covered for Democrats to such extremes I call them The Stenographers of the Democratic Party. They are paid them to write down what the Democrats say.
Which brings us to how Joe Biden continually looked at his watch during the Dignified Transfer of the 13 US military members who were killed by a suicide bomber outside the Kabul airport because Biden completely botched the withdrawal from Afghanistan. His actions made him look so bad that the Pretorian Guard went into action to provide cover for the cold-hearted Commander-in-Chief.
The man was captured on video and yet we still have people in the Guard who want to protect him.

USA Today put out a “fact check” last week declaring that Biden only checked his watch one time, and that it was after the ceremony, even though it’s in direct contradiction to eyewitnesses who were there, and that includes families who lost their sons in the suicide bombing.
USA Today has since changed their fact check conclusion to “missing context.” In other words, they are siding with Biden but don’t have any evidence to prove he didn’t do it.
Darin Hoover and Mark Schmitz, both Goldstar Fathers, who were both eyewitnesses, went on the record declaring that they saw Biden repeatedly checking his watch during the ceremony and one of them said it was “the most disrespectful thing” he has “ever seen.” According to them, it didn’t just happen once, but thirteen times overall.
For me, only one time is a disgrace.
The leftist website Snopes ran a “fact check,” of their own over the claim that Biden checked his watch thirteen times. They rated it a “Mixture” based on there is “no video or photographic evidence to support the claim that Biden checked his watch 13 times during this ceremony,” as if these families who are grieving for their fallen sons are all lying to us.
Here’s the thing about fact checkers. Most of them are powered by news networks and outlets who lie multiple times every day in their news reporting. Do they really expect us to believe they’re being truthful just because they assign it as a “Fact Check?”
The pettiness of leftist fact checker hacks knows no limits. They’re not fact checking that Biden checked his watch. He clearly did. They’re not even fact checking that Biden checked his watch multiple times as has been reported by people who were there. These cretins are fact checking that Biden checked his watch for each coffin was that transferred during the ceremony. You see, that, in their minds, gives Biden a win. In their minds fact checking that Biden did not in fact check his watch 13 times means he never checked his watch, period. That’s because leftists are nuts.
Another Gold Star parent, Shana Chappell, posted on Facebook, “I watched you disrespect us all 5 different times by checking your watch!!! What the f___ was so important that you had to keep looking at your watch????”
Even the Washington Post wrote about the experience of Jiennah McCollum, the wife of 20-year-old Marine Corps Lance Cpl. Rylee McCollum, reporting that she “left disappointed. The president, she [Jiennah] said, kept checking his watch and bringing up Beau.”
She wasn’t the only one who said Biden kept talking about his son Beau, who died six years ago from brain cancer. Schmitz said while he didn’t want to meet with Biden at first, he decided he would out of respect for his now dead son, Jared. He and his ex-wife said while they tried to talk about their son, they had to stand there listening to Biden go on about Beau. They finally pulled out a picture of Jared to show it to Biden to remind him of why they were there.
So the partisan fact checkers did their duty and tried to trash grieving parents whose children died because of a feckless loser of a president. They didn’t have to do it, but they did anyway, as they are the stenographers of the Democratic Party.
I ask, are you going to believe the so-called “fact checkers” who were not there and didn’t see the number of times Biden checked his watch because the only coverage of the ceremony was by CSPAN and they panned away from Biden most of the time, or are you going to believe multiple accounts from people who were there and had a vested interest in taking everything in that was going on during a ceremony about their fallen child?
