There is a war going on inside the pages of Twitter, or X. Sorry, Elon, it will always be Twitter.
The war is between leftist Jews and not-so-left people who are sick and tired of the lefties accusing white people of being evil all the time.
This war was spawned after weeks of going back and forth over the Israeli war in Gaza against Hamas who attacked southern Israel and murdered, raped, tortured, beheaded, and set on fire over 1,400 innocent Israeli Jews.
I don’t post that much on Twitter, but I am politically active on other platforms, and this Scots-Irish American caught a lot of heat for my staunch support of Israel. I lost friends and was on the outs for a while with family members.
Charles Weber posted a video by the Anti-Defamation League (ADL) about standing up to Jew-hatred, something I wholeheartedly support. But there is a problem with the ADL in that the CEO and National Director Jonathan Greenblatt is an out-of-the-closet woke progressive leftie who has catered to the anti-white racism that became prominent after the death of St. George Floyd.

I too am tired of hearing that white people are the cause of everyone’s problems, are inherently racist, and are responsible for everything bad, including humidity.
You will not find a stronger supporter of Israel and Jewish people than me. You may be just as strong in your support, but not more than me.
With that said, I enjoyed the war, not because the people involved trashed a bunch of Jews, but because they trashed a bunch of woke leftists who were so cowardly as St. George Floyd assumed room temperature that they decided to join in the wokeness to avoid an ass kicking.
Here are some of my favorite conservative Jews:
Milton Friedman, Norman Podhoretz, Irving Kristol, Dennis Prager, Ludwig Von Mises, Ayn Rand, Leo Strauss, David Horowitz, Mark Levin, Michael Medved, Andrew Breitbart (God rest his soul) , and Barry Goldwater. Those are just the folks I admire off the top of my head.
What I can say about the battle of the ideologies is that it was such a pleasure to see the major players behaving like grown-ups without that juvenile trashing of their opponents with political-ism-slings and arrows that we have all become so accustomed to on most social media platforms. If more people could debate and disagree with the same strength while remaining in the adult arena of ideas, the world would be a much better place.
