Late Tuesday, House Speaker Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) took the steps necessary to block Representative Rashida Tlaib (D-MI) from using space in the Capitol building to host an anti-Israel event. Tlaib is just one of several open anti-Semites in Congress.
Tlaib planned to host an event inside the Capitol to mark “Nakba,” meaning “catastrophe” or “disaster” in Arabic. It is a Palestinian day of remembrance that mourns the creation of the state of Israel.
Tlaib is listed as a “special guest” on the event invitation. The Washington Free Beacon noted that “the event will take place at the Capitol Visitor Center, whose event space can only be reserved by a sitting member of Congress.”

Tlaib’s cosponsors include Jewish Voice for Peace, a “radical anti-Israel activist group” that pushes the anti-Semitic Boycott, Divestment, and Sanctions (BDS) movement and has come under fire for glorifying Palestinian terrorism. Other organizers include Emgage Action, another BDS supporter that claims Israel is an “apartheid state,” and Americans for Justice in Palestine Action, an advocacy group that claims Jewish money is infecting politics.
McCarthy just outright canceled the event. The Speaker took to social media to explain:

“It’s wrong for members of Congress to traffic in anti-Semitic tropes about Israel,” McCarthy said to the Free Beacon. “As long as I’m Speaker, we are going to support Israel’s right to self-determination and self-defense, unequivocally and in a bipartisan fashion.”
Tlaib introduced a resolution calling on the US to acknowledge “the ongoing Nakba and Palestinian refugees rights.”
The resolution calls on Congress to “condemn all manifestations of Israel’s ongoing Nakba against the Palestinian people, including Israel’s illegal theft of Palestinian land in the West Bank, including East Jerusalem; Israel’s displacement of Palestinians by destroying their homes and forcing them from their land; and the daily brutality and violence inflicted by the Israeli military and Israeli settlers against Palestinian civilians.”

According to the recorded history of the Arab riots from 1936 through 1939, the cause was identified as Arabs angry and upset at the land that Jews were buying. There was never a mention of stealing land. The main Arab and Ottoman complaints against the Zionists were about land sales. Tlaib and her Jew-hating mob want you to believe that the Israelis stole land from the Palestinians and it’s a blatant lie.
First off, there is no such thing as “Palestinian” people from ancient history. That term began to be used in the 20th century by the displaced Arabs for political reasons. The term comes from Philistia, which was named after a historical Jewish enemy, the Philistines. They are basically Arabs without a nation. Any Arab country in the Middle East could have easily absorbed them decades ago, but none chose to do so because it would have taken away the Arab argument against the Jewish state of Israel.
The Arabs insisted that His Majesty’s Government block land purchases by the Jews, arguing that it threatened their national existence.
In reality, the Zionists legally bought the land from the Arab landholders, who then either moved to cities or left the country. They were all too eager to sell because the price paid by the purchasers was often many times more than anyone else would or could pay. This is according to historical facts.
Tlaib must have gotten the FACTS vaccine as a child because now she doesn’t get FACTS.
Another FACT that Tlaib doesn’t want you to know is that no Arab nation accepted the 1949 Armistice Agreements for peace between the Israelis and Arab nations.
Egypt, Lebanon, Trans Jordan (now Jordan), and Syria told Arabs living inside Israel to leave their homes because they were planning to invade the country and slaughter every man, woman, and child Jew. When there were no more Jews, they would tell the people to move back.
Many of the Arabs went along. They moved out of their homes so that the Jews could be slaughtered. But, as we now know from history, it didn’t really work out that way. The Jews repelled their Arab assassins and kept the land. The Arabs who moved out of their homes as part of the plot to murder innocent Jews were told they could not return. Any other nation would have done the same thing, but because they are Jews, radical anti-Semitic Jew haters like Rashida Tlaib think the same standard doesn’t apply.
Then, in 1967, in what is known as the Six-Day War, Egypt, Jordan , and Syria were planning to attack Israel once again. It was the second time the Arabs were to start a war with Israel unprovoked. Again, according to history, we now know that it didn’t work out very well for the Jew-hating Arabs.
As spoils of war, Israel took the Gaza Strip and the Sinai Peninsula from Egypt for defense purposes. The Western Bank, including East Jerusalem, was taken from Jordan. East Jerusalem was annexed to Israel. The Golan Heights was taken from Syria. Any other country that claimed the spoils of war were acceptable by all. That is until the Israelis made the same claim. And much of that land was given back in time. The Israelis only took that land as part of a national security effort.
Rashida Tlaib is a hateful anti-Semite liar who should be expelled from Congress, and Speaker McCarthy should be applauded for canceling the hate event.
