The media is perplexed, confused, and bewildered as to what all of the locations that are closing could possibly have in common. That’s interesting because anyone with a triple-digit IQ knows that it’s because blue cities have allowed criminals to go crazy shoplifting in retail stores across the country.
Target, Inc. has announced the closure of 9 locations in four major cities throughout the United States. All Democrat run.
The prominent retailer announced on Tuesday that it would close one store in New York City, two in Seattle, three in the San Francisco Bay Area, and three in Portland.
Target stated that the decision to close the stores was made due to the serious threat of organized crime in particular locations.
What they mean about organized crime is found in all the viral videos of groups of predominantly young men dressed in black hoodies with black COVID masks on carrying backpacks rushing into a store, grabbing everything they can and shoving the items into their bags, then running out of the store as a group. The entire attack takes one minute or less.
Target recognized the importance of its businesses in many communities but said that safety must come first.

“We cannot continue operating these stores because theft and organized retail crime are threatening the safety of our team and guests, and contributing to unsustainable business performance,” Target said in a statement. “We know that our stores serve an important role in their communities, but we can only be successful if the working and shopping environment is safe for all.”
Target has been taking initiatives to reduce crime in its stores, such as placing some products in locked cases, hiring more security guards, and training employees on how to de-escalate a crisis.
Folks, this is what happens in Democrat-run cities today. Democrats get hired into positions of district attorney, mayor, and other positions that have a responsibility to protect the people of the community. Progressive, woke politicians care more about votes from those thieves and their families than they do the 98 percent of the honest and innocent people who live in the same communities. Those people just got sucker punched by progressive woke radical Marxist Democrat politicians who don’t care that the residents will no longer have a Target, a Walgreens, a Nike store, and any other retail establishment that has had enough and realized they can’t survive when the city doesn’t protect them from theft.
Sadly, the victims in those communities will likely continue to vote for the same Democrats that caused these stores to leave.

“Despite our efforts, unfortunately, we continue to face fundamental challenges to operating these stores safely and successfully,” the statement added.
The report, however, fails to disclose that the four cities in question — New York, San Francisco, Portland, and Seattle — are all left-wing towns known for their crime problems.
Anyone who has followed the news in recent years is aware of the troubles that each of these places has had with crime, owing in large part to their prosecutors’ soft-on-crime policies.
If you asked Americans which four cities they felt would be on the list, I’m sure many, if not the majority, would choose these four.
Consider San Francisco, where, despite a population of hippie liberals who would gladly shop at Whole Foods, the retailer was forced to close its main location downtown after only one year of operation.
The only unexpected thing from the study is that Chicago didn’t make the list. Walmart was forced to close down in Chicago because of the high crime rate there.
Progressive policies that are lenient on criminals aren’t so lenient on people who now have nowhere to go to shop for the things they need.
And in most cases when retail chains pull out of a location, we have Democrats on the 6 o’clock news saying it’s due to racism. The very same politicians who could have done something to prevent the stores from leaving town play the race card.
The next phase will be when the criminals will go to the next town over and start again. But that just screws over the people who just lost their Target because that’s where they now have to go. It’s a vicious cycle that will only end when things get bad enough and people stop voting for Democrats.
