Beginning in 2024, colleges and universities in Washington State can apply for taxpayer-funded financing to install free emergency contraception vending machines on state campuses.
They call a pregnancy an emergency.
The Plan B abortion medication will be available via vending machines. The initiative is funded by $200,000 set aside by the state from taxpayers. Did the taxpayers vote for this?
Washington recently became the first state to pledge public funding for vending machines that carry emergency contraception — including Plan B, which prevents pregnancy within 72 hours after unprotected sex — at its public universities, technical and community colleges, hoping to address the growing need for reproductive health care on college campuses.
Beginning in 2024, public colleges will be able to apply for a $10,000 grant that would support installation and upkeep of a vending machine, which generally carries Plan B, pregnancy tests, Tylenol and ibuprofen. The state has set aside about $200,000 total for schools to establish additional vending machines.

How about they just stop having sex while going to college? Or they could use condoms. Or they could pay for their own damn contraception. Why do senior citizens have to pay for young people to get it on while they’re supposed to be studying at school?
The Seattle Times reported a pilot program at The University of Washington was widely used: “Within the first three months of the vending machine’s arrival, it went through more than 600 boxes of emergency contraception, Riley said.”
According to the American Society for Emergency Contraception (ASEC), which pushes for the placement of machines on college campuses around the country, identical vending machines have been installed on more than three dozen college campuses in 17 states.
That’s fine, but why make the taxpayers pay for it? Were all the taxpayers of Seattle involved in getting a woman pregnant? If so, that means she must be really loose, even by Seattle standards. I don’t think she would be the type of girl you’d want to bring home to meet your mother.
How will this system be abused by prostitutes whose job it is to do things for money that have a very high risk of pregnancy? Did the lawmakers even consider this?
ASEC also offers ways to avoid rules on religiously affiliated or generally more conservative campuses by establishing a “peer-to-peer” distribution system of emergency contraception. According to their website, “Students can help meet this need by confidentially providing free (or low-cost) EC to other students, communicating through hotlines and online forms. EC4EC has several students working on these programs across the country and they would love to share their insights with new campus groups.”
Just another attack on American religion and morality, and the taxpayers are being forced to pay for it.
