Many of you believe that corrupt AG Garland appointed a special prosecutor to investigate Trump to just heap more cow dung, hoping some will stick to the wall. Actually, it’s more nefarious than that. He had two years to do that if he wanted to. The real reason is that Republicans now control the House, meaning they control the investigations. However, by naming a special counsel, he is obstructing the House.
Now, with Republicans in control of the House, they can launch an investigation into January 6th to include Nancy Pelosi for refusing National Guard troops from President Trump. They can also look into how many plants the FBI and DOJ had on January 6th and what their roles were. However, with the special counsel in place the FBI, the DOJ, and Nancy Pelosi cannot be forced to produce documents or testimony. They can cite an ongoing investigation that will drag out past the 2024 presidential election.
The Republicans aren’t helpless though. They do control the purse strings and they can refuse to fund the special counsel. The problem is the RINOs in the House could cross the aisle where they should be, to begin with. No funding means no investigation. If they can rein in their entire caucus. They have been investigating Trump for seven years now and have been unable to find any crime that he committed. This will just be a dog and pony show complete with the leak of false information in an effort to sabotage Trump’s presidential campaign.
Rather than accepting that the other party is now in charge and allowing a peaceful transfer of investigative powers to the Republicans, the Democrats and the Justice Department have opted to break all norms to stop that. This is about more than Democrats losing control of their beloved “narrative.” The appointment of a special counsel will block the newly installed Republican House from investigating uncomfortable questions about the Justice Department and FBI’s behavior concerning the Capitol riot on January 6.
If there were embedded agents in some of the groups of bad actors responsible for the riot, why was no one warned of the impending attack? Or if they were warned, why did they fail to act? Why were law enforcement and the Justice Department so badly surprised by events? Why, despite President Trump’s offer of 10,000 troops in the weeks before the event, were law enforcement officials not pushing House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and Mayor Muriel Bowser to be forearmed and prepared? Or if they were warned, why did they fail to act?
VISIT OUR YOUTUBE CHANNELIn the Nixon Watergate days, the mantra was that it wasn’t the crime; it was the cover-up. Garland’s special counsel appointment has all the earmarks of a cover-up. What cleaner way to engage in obstruction of Congress and its oversight powers than to hide it behind the cloak of special counsel secrecy? After two years during which he could have acted, Garland chose to appoint a special counsel only after the investigation was being turned over to Republican hands. The move screams of obstruction of Congress and a nonpolitical government agency’s interference in the political process.
Merrick Garland has launched a sweeping attack on the independence of Congress. Time for the Republicans to act. It is not the time for “Oh, let the investigation follow its course” passivity. This is a sham, and if you know it, stop it. No spending bill should pass through the House without a rider defunding the special counsel. Congress needs a free hand to finish its investigation.
Just think. This corrupt Merrick garland could have been on the Supreme Court. Whew. We dodged a bullet there.

Your point of view caught my eye and was very interesting. Thanks. I have a question for you.
