So here we go again. Another bombshell drops, and the Obama camp is already in full damage control mode.
According to a new report from the Office of the Director of National Intelligence, it turns out that some of Obama’s top officials didn’t just sit on their hands after Trump won in 2016. No, they allegedly jumped into action to cook up what we all now know as the “Russia Collusion” hoax. And not just a little spin. The report states that this was a full-scale intelligence operation launched after the election to undermine the incoming president. Naturally, Obama’s team is calling the entire thing “outrageous.”
Obama spokesman Patrick Rodenbush came out swinging. He didn’t hold back, releasing a statement after Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard dropped the report on Friday. Niall Stanage from The Hill posted a screenshot of the response.
Here’s what the ODNI report says, according to Gabbard’s office: “overwhelming evidence that demonstrates how, after President Trump won the 2016 election against Hillary Clinton, President Obama and his national security cabinet members manufactured and politicized intelligence to lay the groundwork for what was essentially a years-long coup against President Trump.”
Let that sink in for a moment. They didn’t just disagree with Trump. They didn’t just complain about the outcome. According to this report, they weaponized the intelligence agencies of the United States to try to reverse the results of a democratic election. These aren’t wild accusations from internet conspiracy forums. This is coming straight from the Office of the Director of National Intelligence. If true, it means the most powerful institutions in our government were hijacked to sabotage the will of the people and kneecap a sitting president from day one. That’s not democracy. That’s something else entirely. Remember when they called Trump an election denier when they stole the 2020 election from him? Well, these people denied Trump’s election in 2016, and they weaponized the federal government against him.

That’s a serious accusation. A years-long coup? If that’s true, we’re not just talking about a little political mischief. This would be a direct attack on the presidency. Rodenbush, not surprisingly, fired back hard:
“Out of respect for the office of the presidency, our office does not normally dignify the constant nonsense and misinformation flowing out of this White House with a response. But these claims are outrageous and merit one. These bizarre allegations are ridiculous and a weak attempt at distraction.
Nothing in the document issued last week undercuts the widely accepted conclusion that Russia worked to influence the 2016 presidential election but did not successfully manipulate any votes. These findings were affirmed by the bipartisan Senate Intelligence Committee, led by then-Chairman Marco Rubio.”
That’s their line. Stick to the Russia angle, throw in some “bipartisan” credibility, and call it a day. It doesn’t work anymore.
Just hours after that statement, Trump wasn’t pulling any punches.
“He’s guilty. It’s not a question, you know, I like to say, ‘Let’s give it time.’ It’s there. He’s guilty… This was treason. This was every word you can think of. They tried to steal the election. They tried to obfuscate the election,” Trump said from the Oval Office.

And if you thought he was going to let Hillary Clinton off the hook again, think again. Trump made it very clear he’s had enough.
“You know, when we caught Hillary Clinton, I said, ‘You know what, let’s not… go too far here; It’s the ex-wife of a president.’ And I thought it was sort of terrible, and I let her off the hook. And I’m very happy I did,” he said.

“…After what they did to me, and whether it’s right or wrong, it’s time to go after people. Obama’s been caught directly. So people say, ‘Oh, you know a group.’ It’s not a group, it’s Obama. His orders are on the paper. The papers are signed,” Trump added.
So there it is. According to Trump, the paper trail leads straight to Obama. He’s calling it treason. The media, predictably, is calling it “outrageous.” But let’s be honest—millions of Americans, especially Trump supporters, have believed from the very beginning that Obama was pulling the strings. And the press? They treat Obama like some flawless saint who walks on water and hands out candy canes. Don’t count on them to ever tell the truth about him.
This isn’t over. Not even close.
