President Trump announced Friday evening he has revoked Joe Biden’s national security clearance and is stopping his courtesy presidential daily intelligence briefings. Trump attributed his actions for several reasons, including the fact that Biden had done the same to him in2021, as well as the report by Special Counsel Robert Hur on Biden’s “poor memory”, andBiden having stolen classified documents he never had the right to possess. He could have added the fact Biden was on China’s payroll and that he gave terrorists $1.3 billion dollars.
Trump posted about his decision on Truth Social:
“There is no need for Joe Biden to continue receiving access to classified information. Therefore, we are immediately revoking Joe Biden’s Security Clearances, and stopping his daily Intelligence Briefings. He set this precedent in 2021, when he instructed the Intelligence Community (IC) to stop the 45th President of the United States (ME!) from accessing details on National Security, a courtesy provided to former Presidents. The Hur Report revealed that Biden suffers from “poor memory” and, even in his “prime,” could not be trusted with sensitive information. I will always protect our National Security — JOE, YOU’RE FIRED. MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!”
President Biden said on Friday that he would bar his predecessor, Donald J. Trump, from receiving intelligence briefings traditionally given to former presidents, saying that Mr. Trump could not be trusted because of his “erratic behavior” even before the Jan. 6 attack on the Capitol.
VISIT OUR YOUTUBE CHANNELThe move was the first time that a former president had been cut out of the briefings, which are provided partly as a courtesy and partly for the moments when a sitting president reaches out for advice. Currently, the briefings are offered on a regular basis to Jimmy Carter, Bill Clinton, George W. Bush and Barack Obama.
Mr. Biden, speaking to Norah O’Donnell of CBS News, said Mr. Trump’s behavior worried him “unrelated to the insurrection” that gave rise to the second impeachment of Mr. Trump.
“I just think that there is no need for him to have the intelligence briefings,” Mr. Biden said.
“What value is giving him an intelligence briefing?” Mr. Biden added. “What impact does he have at all, other than the fact he might slip and say something?”

There has been no response by Biden reported so far. Biden last posted on February 3 to congratulate the new head of the DNC, Ken Martin.
