Will AOC be the first Democrat charged with a felony for violating Title 8, United States Code 1324? She is aiding criminal illegal aliens who were found guilty and ordered out of the country. She is impeding justice. Tom Homan has made this quite clear. If convicted and sentenced to prison, she will have no choice but to give up her House seat. Homan talked with Maria Bartiromo on “Sunday Morning Futures” about the effect that sanctuary cities have on deporting illegals.
Bartiromo asked:
“How significant is that pushback and is it stopping you from doing your job?”
Homan answered:
“Absolutely not gonna stop us. I mean it makes our job more difficult. It makes the job more dangerous.”
“Sanctuary city makes it difficult. What is most concerning though, it makes it more dangerous. When we can arrest a bad guy in a county jail. If one officer arrests one guy in the safety and security of county jail or state prison. But when these sanctuary cities release a public safety threat back into the public, which on its face is just ridiculous, it is more dangerous for the ICE officers to make that arrest.”

Bartiromo said:
“You’ve got Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez doing webinars to explain to illegal immigrants how to evade ICE arrests.”
Homan replied:
“What she needs to do is read the statutes enacted by Congress. Title 8, United States code 1324.”
“When you harbor and conceal and impede law enforcement, that’s a felony.”
“What she is really doing, you and I and the rest of the country know, she is trying to teach them how to evade law enforcement.”
“These people been ordered removed. The people we are looking for now have final orders. They are criminals. They are in the country illegally. A judge has ordered them removed. They have become a fugitive and these are the folks she is helping?”
“I simply asked DOJ, give me a legal opinion because every Department of Justice will interpret things differently. What is the legal opinion on impediment? And we will see what happens.”
AOC is not the only Democrat violating the law. We need to lock all of them up and that will lead the Democrats to start obeying the law because although they may say they are willing to go to prison, they really aren’t.
