Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard announced on Friday that she’s yanked the security clearances of several prominent figures at President Donald Trump‘s behest. The lineup includes former presidential candidates Hillary Clinton and Kamala Harris, as well as two Republicans who’ve been less than friendly toward Trump.
Gabbard took to social media to declare, “I have revoked former President Joe Biden’s security clearance, and revoked clearances and access to classified information for Kamala Harris, Hillary Clinton, Liz Cheney, Adam Kinzinger, Fiona Hill, and Alexander Vindman.” She made it clear that this move was “at the direction of the president.”

Fiona Hill, a former deputy assistant on Trump’s National Security Council, took her moment in the spotlight during the first impeachment circus—testifying about so-called “Russian connections” that never actually went anywhere. Then there’s Alexander Vindman, the ex-director of European Affairs at the NSC, who dramatically resigned in 2020 and jumped straight into the anti-Trump resistance bandwagon. He also testified, of course, turning a routine diplomatic call with Ukrainian President Zelenskyy into the scandal of the week.

These two jumped ship and cozied up to the left, playing starring roles on the now-extinct January 6 Committee, which was less about truth and more about political theater. The Republican National Committee wasn’t having it and rightly censured both of them in 2022 for abandoning their party and going full Never-Trump.
As for Kamala Harris—after getting absolutely steamrolled by Trump in the 2024 election—word on the street is she’s plotting her next political survival move. Some say she’s eyeing the California governor’s mansion once Gavin Newsom finishes wrecking the place in 2026. Because if there’s one thing California needs, it’s more of the same failing upward.
And there it is—yet another installment in the ongoing political reality show where the deep state elite finally start facing the music. The drama’s thicker than a CNN panel discussion, and the next episode of “Who’s Getting the Boot from Classified Access?” promises to be just as entertaining.
