Two female judges who were lifelong Democrats have decided they will run for re-election as Republicans thanks to the border crisis that was created by President Joe Biden, and is getting worse by the day.
Presidio County Judge Cinderela Guevara and Terrell County Judge Dale Carruthers work in Texas border towns and they have vented their frustration with the Biden administration’s border policies that are destroying small Texas communities.
Now you know why Texas Governor Greg Abbott is shipping illegal aliens off to blue sanctuary cities like Washington, DC, New York City, and as of this past week, Lori Lightfoot’s Chicago. Why should Texas communities that are not sanctuary cities have to take the brunt of the humanitarian disaster situation that is going on along Texas border communities because Joe Biden wants to increase the Democratic Party voter base?
“The single reason they switched parties, they say, is because the Biden administration’s policies led to more than 2 million people coming through the southern border from over 150 countries. The costs of crime stemming from an open border – increased trafficking and smuggling of people, weapons, and guns – to their communities has prompted them to say, “enough is enough” and do something about it,” Bethany Blankley of The Progressive News wrote.
Judge Carruthers said, “I come from a Hispanic heritage, which was prominently Democrat. The chaos at the border and everything that’s been going on make me realize that I needed to switch parties. I am very happy to be a Republican and to represent this great state of Texas as a judge.”

Six counties and a city on July 5 declared an invasion at the Texas southern border, and that included Presidio and Terrell counties. They vowed to uphold the Constitution, claiming that they needed to take such an action to defend the lives of their residents. What kind of US president would do this to his own people? A Democrat, that’s what kind.
Carruthers, during the declaration of an invasion, said that her county, which has a very small population of approximately 1,000 people, has been inundated with illegal migrant illegally crossing the border from Mexico.
“We have experienced an invasion that is something of every language,” she said. “We are trying to protect the sovereignty of Texas. I am a constitutional judge and we are standing behind the constitution.”
According to an August 16 statement by the Federation for American Immigration Reform (FAIR), by July 2022, roughly 4.9 million illegals, and 900,000 who escaped capture vanished into American communities.
All the chaos and problems this has caused is intentional. It wasn’t MAGA Republicans who did this. It was Joe Biden and the Democratic Party.
