The Oversight Project vowed to get the recordings of Joe Biden speaking to his ghostwriter, Mark Zwonitzer. Biden released an alleged transcript of their conversation and then declared executive privilege on the actual recordings. But executive privilege is when you speak with a cabinet member or advisor on official business, not on your money-making venture. Allegedly, Biden read classified documents according to Zwonitzer. That is a crime unless the ghostwriter had security clearance, which he didn’t.
US Attorney General Merrick Garland classified the audio tapes of Biden’s interview with Hur as “Top Secret” and locked it way in a SCIF.
The Oversight Project said:
“Our team will get the audio tape of Joe Biden’s interview to you.”
Robert Hur in February released a 345-page report on his investigation of the stolen classified documents. Hur concluded that Joe Biden intentionally broke the law by taking classified documents home as a senator and vice president, something a president only is allowed to do. But Hur did not charge him with that crime, but it could come back to bite Biden now; since he was never charged, it would not be double jeopardy. Hur also concluded that Biden read verbatim from those documents to his ghostwriter, a violation of the Espionage Act.
The report read:
VISIT OUR YOUTUBE CHANNEL“Zwonitzer stated that at some point he deleted the audio files subfolder from his laptop and external hard drive. No relevant deleted files were recovered from the laptop. Deleted audio files were recovered from a subfolder on the external hard drive labeled “Audio.” Based on the available evidence from the forensic review, we assess that all deleted audio files were recovered from that subfolder. For three of the recovered files, portions of the audio appeared to be missing, and a fourth file appeared to have portions overwritten with a separate recording. These results are possible when forensic tools are used to recover deleted files. For each of these four incomplete or overwritten files, Zwonitzer produced his corresponding transcripts to investigators. These notes summarized the content of the conversations, two of which were with Mr. Biden and two of which were with Beau Biden’s doctor.”
