Mexico’s President Claudia Sheinbaum just had a very productive chat with President Trump, and wouldn’t you know it—suddenly, Mexico is sending 10,000 National Guard soldiers to their northern border immediately to crack down on drug trafficking. And just like that, Trump’s tariffs on Mexican goods are on pause for a month.
So, to recap: Trump slapped Mexico with tariffs to stop the flow of fentanyl into the U.S., and Mexico caved in record time.
But that didn’t stop David Pakman from making a fool of himself once again saying:
“Tariffs effectively are a tax on consumers and that means you end up paying more at the car dealership, at the checkout counter. So, I want to go through a few things that if you’re considering buying. You may want to buy sooner than later or you may want to stock up on to the degree that you can. If you are looking to get an electric vehicle, if you’re looking to go greener, the reality here is that, number one, it is believed Donald Trump is going to get rid of the $7,500 federal tax credit on electric vehicles and in addition to that a lot of the parts are very much connected to a global supply chain.

Oh no, David—not the EVs! This man sat there on his YouTube channel, wringing his hands, trying to blame Trump for a potential cause of electric vehicle parts going up in price while tens of thousands of Americans are dying from fentanyl overdoses.
These leftist clowns have no clue as to what Trump is doing. You would think these libnuts would have learned a thing or two after the November election. They haven’t learned a thing. They are back to their same old tactics. Everything Trump does is bad because they have preconceived notions of him, and so instead of looking at a situation from both sides, they set out to prove their preconceived notions. And that’s just fine because the libnuts will just keep losing and the rest of us will keep winning.

If this was so easy, why didn’t it happen years ago? Two words: massive corruption.
Mexico’s political elite have been raking in cartel money for decades. Cartels and drug smugglers move billions through remittances sent by illegal immigrants back to Mexico, and the cartels use that cash to bribe officials into keeping the border wide open. Everybody got rich—except, of course, the American taxpayers footing the bill.
And then there’s the U.S. corporate elites—the ones who continue to fund Democrats’ and RINOs campaigns—who thrive on cheap illegal labor. The entire system was one giant scam at our expense.
But those days? Gone.
HOLY COW! Border Crossings Plummet by 93% in Two Weeks
The results speak for themselves.
Former acting ICE director Tom Homan didn’t mince words:
“Look, I said it… President Trump is the game-changer. No one has had the success he’s had on securing the border. He clearly understands we can’t have strong national security if we don’t have border security. We need to know who’s coming in, what’s coming in, where it’s coming in, and why it’s coming in. And we have achieved a success on the border already. We got more work to do.”

A 93% drop in illegal crossings in less than two weeks. Homan said that’s an even bigger decrease than during Trump’s first term.
And the administration isn’t stopping there. Nearly 5,000 criminal illegal aliens were arrested in just the first week. Remember those “sanctuary cities” that refused to cooperate with ICE? Well, congratulations—now there are even more ICE agents rounding up criminals on your streets. That’s what we call reaping what you sow. And I am willing to bet that after the Democrat politicians in those blue cities start to act out their fake outrage, their constituents are going to give them the what/for because they voted for Trump.
The Global Ripples: China Gets Shut Out of Panama
And Trump’s America First policy isn’t just shaking things up in Mexico—it’s sending shockwaves across the globe.
In a move that stunned foreign policy wonks, Panama just cut all ties with China and booted them from the Panama Canal. That’s right—China’s massive infrastructure takeover through its Belt and Road Initiative? Dead in the water.
This comes right after a visit from Secretary of State Marco Rubio, who allegedly made it clear to Panama’s president that they had two choices:
- Cut China loose, or
- Face brutal economic consequences from the U.S.
Panama did the math and caved immediately.
And the winning streak didn’t stop there.
- Venezuela? Released six American hostages after one visit from Rick Grenell. No groveling, no deals—just some good old-fashioned diplomatic muscle.
- Colombia? Folded in record time. Their socialist president initially refused to accept deported Colombian illegal immigrants—until Trump threatened escalating tariffs. Within an hour, Gustavo Petro caved and agreed to take them back.
Canada Just Caved

“President Donald Trump will pause additional tariffs on Canadian imports for 30 days after a call with Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, who made some concessions to temporarily stave off the levies.
Trump and Trudeau spoke via phone on Monday, hours before additional 25% tariffs were to take effect on Canadian goods coming into the United States. In a post on X, Trudeau said Canada will implement a $1.3 billion border plan and appoint a fentanyl czar.
In addition, Canada will reinforce its border with new helicopters, technology, personnel and enhanced coordination with American authorities. He added that nearly 10,000 personnel are and will be working on border protection.”
Again, this is what the MAGA folks call winning.
Tariffs: The Political Sledgehammer That Works
For years, tariffs were just another tool in America’s economic toolbox, mostly used for two things:
- Raising revenue, and
- Protecting American industries.
That’s how the Founding Fathers used them. George Washington himself slapped tariffs on British goods to protect American manufacturing. In fact, for most of the 19th century, tariffs were the main source of federal revenue. Try to tell that to David Pakman. The whole income tax scam? That didn’t show up until 1913 with the 16th Amendment. (which I have on good authority was never legally ratified, but that’s for another story.)
But Trump? He’s using tariffs for something entirely new—a weaponized political strategy to bring foreign governments to their knees. Trump is using a special weapon to ensure fair American trade with foreign countries.
The Death of Globalism as We Know It
For decades, the globalist elite operated under the post-WWII Bretton Woods System, which banned tariffs in the name of “free trade.” But in reality, “free trade” was just code for:
- Japan gets to protect its markets.
- China gets to manipulate its currency.
- The U.S. gets fleeced.
Both Republican and Democrat administrations went along with this scam, selling out American workers in the process. Our factories shut down. Our borders were overrun. Our economy stagnated. And it all formed a new group of Americans: the forgotten man.
Trump’s message? Not anymore. Not on my watch. Folks, this is just another plank of what will fuel America’s Golden Age.
Tariffs are no longer just economic policy—they’re a geopolitical wrecking ball. The globalists’ playbook has been shredded. The era of America being the world’s doormat is over.
And the best part?
