The Biden White House had to walk back their statement concerning the possibility of implementing new coronavirus lockdowns due to the spread of the Delta variant.
Fox News’ Peter Doocy on Thursday during the daily press briefing asked White House principal deputy press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre if the Biden administration would support future COVID-19 lockdowns.
Doocy asked, “So if you’re listening to the science, if scientists come to you at some point down the line and say it is our opinion that there should be shutdowns and there should be school closures, you would do that.”
The point he was making that flew right over Jean-Pierre’s head is does the administration have a position on how to run the country or are they always going to punt to the so-called “science” experts who have already gotten many things wrong.
Jean-Pierre replied saying that the Biden administration has not taken potential future lockdowns and school closures off the table. Of course not, because they may need those measures to strike fear into people the closer we get to the next election. The Democratic Party can’t have voters rational enough to go stand in line to vote. What good would that do? They want to cheat so mail-in ballots helped them out in the last election so they figured they’ll just do it again.
“Well we listen to it. Like I said, we listen to the CDC and the expert and their guidance are, you know, the CDC is a body that is very well respected, And we follow again, we follow their guidance,” Jean-Pierre responded.
VISIT OUR YOUTUBE CHANNELThat respect is waning daily. CDC director Rochelle Walensky recently got caught lying to justify her agency’s reasoning to force children to go another year in school wearing masks 9 hours a day, something medical experts have already deemed unhealthy for them. Walensky said it to strike fear in the American electorate so that they demand mail-in ballots to vote in the coming midterm elections next year. It will never end
Hours later, the White House walked back its statement.
The White House referred Fox News to a couple tweets by Jean-Pierre on Thursday saying that the Biden regime is not considering lockdowns. Folks, this is how it goes. Biden will say he’s not for forcing lockdowns but if states or counties want to implement lockdowns that’s fine for them. He will send that dog whistle to state and local politicians who will be more than happy to comply with the dog whistle. That way the administration can get away with saying that they never ordered lockdowns.
“To be clear, here is what @potus said this week: ‘more vaccinations and mask wearing in the areas most impacted by the Delta variant will enable us to avoid the kind of lockdowns, shutdowns, school closures, and disruptions we faced in 2020….We are not going back to that.'”
“We will not be going back into lockdowns. Why? Because we now have the tools to put this virus behind us. The science says the vaccines work – including against the Delta variant. We urge Americans to get vaccinated.”

During the briefing, Doocy also asked if Americans should “trust” President Biden on his word that the nation is “not returning to lockdowns, shutdowns and school closures” after he called on Americans to wear a mask indoors even if they have been fully vaccinated.
“President Biden says that we are not returning to lockdowns, shutdowns and school closures,” Doocy asked, “But he also once said that we didn’t have to wear masks anymore once we were vaccinated. So why should Americans trust him now?”
Peter Doocy is probably the only real journalist in the White House press pool who has the guts to ask real questions of this administration.
“Well, because we listen to the scientists, we listen to the experts,” Jean-Pierre responded. “This is a public health situation. This is not about politics at all, this is about saving lives. And this is what the president is all about.”
But the science experts have corrupted the science. Not only did Walensky lie about COVID deaths among children but her agency cited a study done in India as the justification for forcing children to wear masks in school. The study was marked “reject” on a peer review site all the way up until the day before the Biden administration wanted to use it to push for children masking up in schools. The administration allegedly got the peer review site to change the status of the study so that they could cite it. And the study was done on a COVID-19 vaccine that still isn’t approved for use in the United States. They have corrupted science.
“He wants to make sure that we are saving lives,” she continued. “If you look at, Peter, the last six months, that’s what he’s done every day and you see that in the numbers.” Joe Biden can’t remember how many grapes they gave him last night during West Wing reruns.
