The Democratic Party is unraveling at an unprecedented pace. Their messaging is a mess, their approval ratings are in freefall, and even those who can’t stand Donald Trump are forced to admit that things aren’t looking good for the left.
Political strategist Frank Luntz said, “I have never seen the National Democratic Party in such chaos and confusion. Whether its childish stunts on the floor of Congress or performance art with their fake town halls, there is nothing authentic or compelling about their message, their tactics, or their delivery.”
Translation? The Democrats have lost the plot. Their antics aren’t convincing anyone, and their attempts at public engagement are flopping hard. The voters have noticed—and the numbers prove it.
According to fresh polling from CNN, the party’s favorability has hit a rock-bottom 29%, the lowest in their data since 1992. That’s right, 1992—when people were still using dial-up internet and wearing flannel unironically.
If you thought things couldn’t get worse for them, you’d be wrong. CNN’s Harry Enten recently laid out just how dire the polling situation is:

And it gets worse. Congressional Democrats are somehow even less popular than their own party:
Quinnipiac Poll: A jaw-dropping 68% of voters disapprove of Democrats in Congress, with only 21% approving—officially the worst ratings in party history.
Even among their own voters, only 40% approve of the party, while 49% disapprove. When almost half of your own supporters think you’re doing a terrible job, you know you’ve got problems.
Newsweek did the polite thing and reached out to the Democratic National Committee (DNC) for comment via email on Sunday, but so far, radio silence. Maybe they’re too busy trying to figure out who’s actually in charge of the party.
Since getting walloped in the last election, the Democrats have been doing their best impression of a headless chicken—running around with no real strategy, no clear leadership, and no idea how to counter the juggernaut that is Donald Trump and his billionaire tech buddy, Elon Musk. Frustration is bubbling over as voters and party activists wonder, Is anyone steering this ship?
Meanwhile, Trump and Musk have been going full-speed ahead with their government overhaul, courtesy of their brand-new Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE). Yep, DOGE. No word on whether its logo features the Dogecoin meme, but at this point, would anyone be surprised?
Now, back to that dismal polling. CNN surveyed 1,206 U.S. adults (conducted by SSRS) and found that Democrats are sitting at a depressing 29% favorability. That’s a 20-point drop since the end of Trump’s first term in January 2021. Ouch. Meanwhile, Republicans, while not exactly winning any popularity contests, are still faring better at 36%.
Republicans seem to like their own party a lot more than Democrats like theirs. A whopping 79% of Republicans and GOP-leaning independents are standing by their party, while only 63% of Democrats and Democrat-leaning independents can say the same. And get this—that’s a massive drop from the 81% approval Democrats had when Biden first took office in 2021.
For those who love the fine print, the margin of error for this poll was plus or minus 3.3 percentage points.
The poll was conducted from March 6-9, right before 10 Senate Democrats decided to throw their party into further chaos by voting in favor of a Trump-backed funding bill—something House Democrats had largely opposed. Many Democrats were hoping to use the bill as leverage against Trump and the Republicans, but their Senate colleagues had other ideas.
The backlash? Oh, it was immediate. Minority Leader Chuck Schumer led the charge on this move, and now party activists are basically waving pitchforks, calling for his resignation. Even leading Democratic House members are publicly roasting their Senate counterparts. That’s unity, Democrat style.
With midterms looming, Democrats should be in full panic mode. At this rate, they’re not just heading for a loss—they’re on track for a full-scale electoral massacre.
If the Democratic Party had a motto right now, it would be “Doubling Down on Losing.”
Take, for example, the absurd drama surrounding a recent immigration ruling. Leftist federal judge James Boasberg tried to block Trump’s decision to deport violent foreign gang members—some of whom are part of MS-13 and Tren de Aragua, groups classified as terrorists by the U.S. government.
Trump used the Alien Enemies Act of 1798 to get these criminals out of the country, sending them straight to El Salvador’s high-security mega-prison. Seems reasonable, right? Well, not to Judge Boasberg, who made the insane decision to order the deportation flights to turn around mid-air and bring the criminals back to the U.S.
Trump’s response? He ignored the ruling and had them deported, anyway.
And guess what? The American public overwhelmingly supports deporting violent criminal illegals. But instead of listening to voters, the Democrats keep championing policies that make no sense, like complaining that the Trump administration wasn’t allowing violent criminal illegals to stay in the country.
And yet, the Democrats refuse to pivot. Even James Carville, a Democratic strategist, has admitted that the transgender issue is a political loser—yet they just won’t stop talking about it.
This is why Trump’s coalition has become the “Common Sense Coalition”—a movement that cuts across party lines because, well… it actually makes sense.
Democratic strategist Charlotte Clymer didn’t hold back, telling Newsweek:
“At the moment, we are rudderless. There is no sense of vision. The messaging is abysmal. Members of Congress are privately admitting to reporters that they’re not sure what our direction is supposed to be. Above all, we need leadership who will fight back and show voters we stand against the disastrous actions of Trump and Elon Musk.”
While the Democrats are stuck in a political nosedive, Trump is busy reshaping America’s financial future. His latest move? Signing an executive order to establish America’s first-ever Sovereign Wealth Fund—a massive economic game-changer.
This fund will be filled with assets fast, and there’s growing speculation that gold will be a key part of its foundation. Other nations—like Australia, Saudi Arabia, and Singapore—have already been hoarding gold. If the U.S. follows suit, expect gold prices to skyrocket.
Now would be a very smart time to prepare. Those paying attention could see massive financial gains from this shift.
