Representative Adam Schiff (D-CA) is facing expulsion from the House of Representatives.
Representative Anna Paulina Luna (R-FL) introduced a motion on Wednesday to remove Schiff for suspicions that members of former President Donald Trump’s 2016 campaign collaborated with Russian operatives.
Luna took to social media:
“Knowingly using your position on House Intel to push a lie that ripped apart our country, cost taxpayers millions of dollars, and authorized spying on a US President and then proceeding to double down on the lie within days of the Durham report coming out makes you unfit for office. Ethics should investigate.”

The resolution comes after Special Counsel John Durham issued his report describing the findings of his inquiry into the FBI’s Russia investigation.
His assessment stated that the probe had been undertaken without a proper foundation. It also made a number of complaints against the FBI.
Following the release of Durham’s report, Schiff told MSNBC that the probe “started in a flawed manner, it was conducted in a flawed manner, and its conclusion is a flawed conclusion.”
He also claimed it was a “wasted effort” and “four years of undermining the Department [of Justice] and a political prosecution.”
This is the same weasel who said nearly every day for over two years that there was “ample evidence of Russian collusion in plain sight.” Yet he never produced a single piece of evidence because he was lying.
He defended his claim on CNN in February, saying, “If you read the Mueller report, he makes clear even in the first few pages of the report that he states no conclusion on whether Donald Trump and his campaign colluded with the Russians.” That’s what you say when you report that there is no evidence to support the allegation.
He went on to say that according to former Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s investigation, Trump’s campaign manager shared internal polling data with a Russian operative, and that “To most Americans, that is collusion. Now, whether it’s proof beyond a reasonable doubt of the crime of conspiracy — that’s what Bob Mueller was talking about — I have always distinguished between the two.”
Earlier this year, House Speaker Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) barred Schiff, the former head of the House Intelligence Committee, from continuing to serve on the committee.
